Works well, accurate when compared to sophisticated temperature gauge... Takes a bit too long to get the temp so probably not for kids (5mins in a child's mouth isn't ideal)

The item arived at the beginning of May. Unfortunately within a week it was giving false very high readings. Ultimately I discovered that that was a problem with the battery. Difficult to procure a new battery in this lockdown climate. So not able to make use of the thermometer currently.

The one sent to me looks nothing like the picture which is now showing. The instruction manual is one page and mainly in pidgin English. the instructions say it will buzz when measurement is finished 20 seconds, it also says you can do a longer reading of 4 minutes it will then buzz. This is nonsense, it doesn't buzz and shuts itself down after 30 seconds. The instructions don't tell you how to change the battery. Three measurement all within 30 seconds of on another gave 3 different readings 34.1, 36.9 and 37.8. Mine came from China - 'Sold by guangzhoushiyamegedingzhifushishangmaoyou xiangong' and is blue and white, the one shown is now shipping from Europe - 'Cowin Europe' and is green and white. I'm not impressed Bolo, I have been dealing with you for years and never had to complain but this is a rubbish product and reading other reviews I think a lot of people agree with me.

This thermometer stopped working after being used only a few times. Then i thought the battery has gone so after opening the battery compartment, noticed corrosion around the battery & liquid oozes out.the vendor has kindly promised to refund my money.I am looking for a new thermometer now.
