My 1st go to cpu fan. Although I had trouble fitting it to my motherboard but I blame the motherboard as it overlapped a big heatsink. But very cool running at a cool price

Tiny fiddly spinny brackets, i nearly gave up, all that is needed is spring retention wires, this ensures an even spread of pressure on the CPU, there is no way of knowing if the cooler is sitting at an angle, total guess work with screws.It is quiet and good value for money though

Great for the price point.Has brought the core temp down by 15c. My PC feels cooler and CPU performing better.Is a bit fiddly to install on the mount clips but worth it to bring the temp down.There is No RGB but for the price point, it's honestly bang on!Way better at cooling than the Prism stock cooler AMD provide. If you're on the stock cooler, you will 100% see a temp difference with this.

Does it work? Yes.Should you buy it? NoThe cooler mounting system is fiddly and a pain to get on, not to mention its not designed to be removed.To get it on was a painful process as I cannot access the screw on the topside of my case (yours might be different), even if I was able to there was so little space I couldn't turn the screwdriver with my fingers.To get it on I had to tighten 1 side and then hook that side on as I placed it down. With my GPU removed I could then tighten the other screw and make sure it would hook on correctly.This lead to a poor thermal paste application the first time I mounted it and I had to redo it 3 times to get the best cooling.The cooling it provides is sub optimal which at this price is not a good value. It only has 2 thermal pipes, which limits the amount of heat it can transfer to the fins. For reference the Hyper 212 Evo has 4 pipes at just £26.48 allowing for 4x the heat transfer to the fins.There is another cooler called the ID-COOLING SE-914-XT which follows a similar design and price with 4 heat pipes.Overall at this price no question asked, this is not worth the price. Wait for it to go on sale for <£20

My stock cooler got really loud and couldn’t cope with cooling anymore so I had to replace one with a better cooler but it had to be on a budget and this cooler exactly met my needs!The cooler arrived fast and as promised. Installation is easy as long as you read the instructions properly. Some reviews may say that it is extremely difficult to fit, but they just didn’t read the instructions properly!Installation took few minutes and it runs silently and cpu cooling issues is no longer a problem.Very pleased with my order and good value for money too

Great CPU cooler, needed after my stock cooler died, installing the bracket is easy enough, however, it takes a lot of precision and patience to install the actual unit on top with the 2 metal tags, very fiddly to line them up perfectly and do not forget that the thermal paste is on the heatsink already, I accidentally got it on my finger a few times

Solid and compact cooler which is great for a smaller case, but i could not use without an AMD backplate as the frame supplied has Intel markings only. Need to double check the installation video online. Sad had to return.

De ARCTIC Freezer 7 X is makkelijk te installeren, ongeveer 5 minuten werk en mijn i7 7700k wordt onder een uur strest testen maar maximaal 75 graden.Ik raad dit product aan.

Formschöner und Leistungsstaker Kühler der nicht auffallen will.

Ich habe mir diesen Kühler bestellt, weil ich ein CPU Upgrade meines Zweit-PCs vorgenommen habe bei dem sich herausstellte dass der mitgelieferte Kühler für mein PC Gehäuse zu groß war und sich bedingt durch dessen Baugröße das Seitenteil nicht mehr ganz schließen ließ.Es musste also etwas kleineres her dass sowowhl in das Gehäuse passt, als auch ordentliche Kühlleistung bietet bei einem überschaubarem Preis.Diesen Vorgaben gemäß, blieb da nicht viel Auswahl und so wurde es dieser dem ich vertraute da ich die ARCTIC Produkte im Grunde kenne und nichts schlechtes mit ihnen erfahren habe.Der Einbau des Kühlers gestaltet sich im Grunde relativ einfach, bis auf die Bügelverankerung welche mit Schrauben auf die Nasen des Rahmens befestigt wird. Etwas suboptimal und eine ziemliche Fummelei bis die Schrauben ordentlich angezogen sind da man mit dem Schraubendreher nicht vernünftig hin kommt weil sie so eng am Kühlkörper anliegen und zum Teil auch die anderen Komponenten am Mainboard die Sache nicht unbedingt erleichtern. Somit ist Ruhe und Konzentration gefragt bis die Schrauben sitzen, und der Kühler fest montiert ist. Eine einfachere Lösung in Form eines Hebels welcher zum arretieren einfach umgelegt werden muss wäre hier sehr Vorteilhaft gewesen, wäre dann aber vom Preis her wahrscheinlich um einige Euros teurer. Es lässt sich verschmerzen, denn man macht das ja nur ein mal, und hat es danach auch gleich wieder vergessen.Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, fügt sich der Kühler perfekt in das Gehäuse ein, und rundherum ist gerade ausreichend Luft damit die Luftzirkulation im Gehäuse gegeben ist. Sehr zu meiner Freude, da ich vorher nicht nach gemessen habe ob er passen wird oder nicht. Ich habe diesen vom Gefühl her so eingeschätzt dass es sich aus gehen müsste. Sehr Hilfreich waren dabei allerdings die Bilder von den anderen Rezessenten welche ich an dieser Stelle dafür lobe dass sie sich die Mühe gemacht haben ihre Bilder hier hoch zu laden. Potentielle Interessenten haben damit eine bessere Vorstellung von angestrebtem Produkt.Was die Kühlleistung dieses Kühlers anbelangt, so bin ich positiv überrascht! Denn dieser ist scheinbar zu höherem berufen und konstruiert da er mit meiner AMD Phenom 945 CPU absolut kein Problem damit hat sie Artgerecht zu kühlen. Ganz so wie auch der große den ich bis zum eintreffen dieses Kühlers drauf montiert gelassen habe um ihn wenigstens auf seine Kühlleistung zu testen wenn ich ihn denn schon montiert habe. Im Leerlauf kühlt der ARCTIC Freezer 7X die Phenom CPU auf Sagenhafte 25°C herunter (Raumtemperatur), während ich selbst bei Vollast und gedrosseltem Lüfter auf 1000 rpm um die Burg nicht über knapp 43°C komme. Da sag ich nur wooww!! Damit habe ich nicht gerechnet. Vor allem aber wie schnell die CPU herunter gekühlt wird sobald der Volllast Test beendet wurde. Innerhalb von 10 Sekunden gehts runter auf 32°C und fällt dann konstant weiter bis auf etwa 26-29°C. Im Normalbetrieb sind es dann so zwischen 25-33°C je nach dem was ich gerade am PC mache. Auf alle Fälle aber ziemlich weit weg von hohen Teperaturen am Headspreader und somit sicher auch an den Dies.Der am Kühler montierte Formschöne Lüfter ist von der Sorte flüsterleise, und macht sich kaum bis gar nicht bemerkbar im Betrieb. Das sorgte bei mir zuerst für etwas Verunsicherung da ich mir nicht ganz sicher war ob er denn bei Last die Drehzahl auch tatsächlich erhöht. Trotz Anzeige am Bildschirm war ich nämlich etwas skeptisch. Denn von 600 bis 1600 rpm ändert sich bei diesem Lüfter und geschlossenem Gehäuse akkustisch kaum was. Man bekommt die Steigerung der Drehzahl nicht wirklich mit. Er rauscht nur ganz leise und zufrieden vor sich hin ohne je störend zu werden. Erst ab 1650 und weiter bis auf 2150 rpm macht der Lüfter erst aufmerksam auf sich, aber in einer Weise die selbst bei maximaler Drehzahl nicht wirklich störend ist. Es ist ein kräftges Rauschen begleitet von einem leisen niederfrequenten summen so as wollte der Lüfte sagen hallo ich bin da, und mir gehts gut. Dazu siehe kurzes Video bei geöffnetem Gehäuse. Das summen und klackern der Festplatte übertönt den Lüfter des Kühlers locker! Interessenten mit empfindlichem Gehör oder solche die einen möglichst Geräuscharmen Kühler suchen kann ich diesen hier wärmstens empfehlen. Kühlt ordentlich, und ist alles andere als aufdringlich. In meinem Fall sogar obwohl gleich zwei Arctic Lüfter hintereinander ihren Dienst verrichten wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist und von den Drehzahlen her zusammen geschaltet sind. Drosselt der CPU Lüfter, folgt ihm der hinten angebrachte Gehäuselüfter den ich ebenfalls hier einige Tage zuvor erworben habe. Ein ARCTIC F8 PST. Wie ich finde, das perfekte Lüfter Gespann da sie sehr gut miteinander harmonieren und nicht weiter auffallen was die Geräuschkullisse betrifft.Somit bin ich mit meinem Erwerb sehr zufrieden, Preis-Leistung absolut überzeugend, Qualität die kaum Raum für Kritik lässt, und Formschön ist der Kühler auch wie ich finde. Daher gibt es von mir an dieser Stelle alle 5 Sterne für dieses Produkt, und standing ovations für ARCTIC die mit diesem Kühler wirklich ein Prachtexemplar entworfen haben.Über die Sache mit dem Befestigungsbügel müss ma allerdings noch reden! :-) Da gibts auch einfachere Verankerungsmethoden die den Einstandspreis nicht allzu sehr in die Höhe treiben. 2-3 Euro mehr dem Komfort zuliebe würde sicher keine Interssenten ab schrecken.

This was a little hard to install but once it did it worked magic on my cpu . Prior to this cooler i was using a stock intel cooler on my i5-4440 and it dropped the idle temps from an average 50-55 to an average 26-32 . I am not sure of it competitive nature against other coolers but this sure did work for me.

Best cooler for the price

The cooler works really great. I own an AMD fx-6300 which tends to heat up a lot but after installing this cooler the max temps are at 65 degrees Celsius. So if you need a beast cooler at a really low price then this one would be the best.

Keeps Ryzen 5 5600 running cool, super quiet!

Bought this to pair with a brand new Ryzen 5 5600 CPU.The installation was a little tricky due to how the bracket holds on to AM4 sockets, but I ultimately got it set up within 10 minutes.It runs anywhere between 10-20 degrees Celsius cooler than a stock cooler, if not more.Fits good with easy access to RAM.I can't really speak for the noise level since I use a be quiet! branded case. I never heard any noise coming from it to begin with, but I still can't hear anything after the upgrade, so I'll call that a win.
