My last one was broken and I needed a replacement quickly, it came the next day, no set up, no faff, batteries in and connected immediately, when a universal remote failed, this is exactly the one we had before.

These generic remotes don't work well. New batteries in each remote, have to push buttons hard, most remotes aim at the TV, these only work when holding arm in the air, pointing and pressing hard. I'm returning them.

Bought to replace a 'universal remote' previously purchased as a substitute for the broken original remote, which only allowed extremely limited functionality... Didn't have much hope for this as the TV is a 5 year old Celcus brand TV, but all functions work excellently, including the Netflix and Youtube shortcut buttons, so very happy so far.Only bug bear is build quality not great, seems a bit flimsy and very lightweight, and the battery cover is a little loose, so not sure how long it will last, but for now the TV is useable again ao happy overall

After our remote stopped working looked for a replacement. This came up , for the price it’s brilliant. It’s actually more responsive than the original. That may because the old one was on its way . Definitely worth it. No setting up required.
