Schmeckt wie warme Erdbeer-Plätzchen
Pop Tarts werden auch hierzulande immer beliebter. Noch vor ein paar Jahren hat man den Toaster-Snack nur in einigen wenigen Supermärkten bekommen, jetzt beinahe überall.Ist nicht mein erstes Mal gewesen, dass ich Pop Tarts probiert habe. Das letzte Mal war vor 1 oder 2 Jahren, war irgendeine Keks-Sorte, welche mir nicht wirklich geschmeckt hat. Diese beiden Sorten hier (Strawberry-Sensation und Hot Fudge Sundae) schmecken DEUTLICH besser.Erdbeer erinnert mich sehr stark an meine Kindheit, als meine Mutter und ich immer Plätzchen gebacken und diese mit Erdbeer-Konfitüre gefüllt hatten. Der Geschmack ist erschreckend ähnlich.Hot Fudge hingegen erinnert an noch warme Brownies, schokoladig, kräftig, vollmundig, gut.Die Pop Tarts kommen für kurze Zeit in den Toaster, ACHTUNG, nicht zu lange! Die äußere Schicht ist dann leicht knusprig-krümelig, innen noch wach und saftig. Ist tatsächlich ein sehr angenehmes und leckeres Kaugefühl und sollte gerade Kindern gefallen. 2 dieser Pop Tarts machen auch ordentlich satt.
Geschmack gut, Qualität nicht
Ich hatte die Pop-Tarts vor 25 Jahren bei einem Aufenthalt in Amerika kennengelernt und geliebt.Als ich jetzt per Zufall bemerkte, dass es sie auf Bolo zu erwerben gibt, habe ich mir gleich 3 verschiedene Sorten gekauft.Frosted Strawberry war damals schon meine Lieblingssorte.Der Geschmack ist noch der Gleiche, die Qualität leider miserabel.Die Pop-Tarts sind so biegsam, dass sie mir mehrmals jetzt im Toaster so verbogen sind, dass ich sie gar nicht mehr rausbekam . Beim Versuch sie rauszubekommen sind sie komplett zerfallen und ich hab 10 Minuten damit verbracht hab, die Einzelteile rauszupulen.Hierbei ist es egal, ob ich Erdbeere, Smores oder Zimt als Geschmack benutzt hab.Zuerst hab ich sie der Länge nach reingestellt (wie ich das auch immer in Amerika gemacht hab), das Resultat war katastrophal. Aber auch in der Breite bekam ich die Dinger nachher nicht wirklich raus.Einige Pop-Tarts waren schon in der Packung verbogen und zerbröselt.Man kann sie zwar auch essen, ohne sie zu toasten, aber dafür brauch ich dann auch keine Pop-Tarts zu bestellen.
Sehr Lecker
Die Pop Tarts schmecken uns sehr gut und sind Ideal für zwischendurch die Brotdose für den Kindergarten oder auch mal zum Frühstücken. Sie sind zwar sehr süß aber in Maßen kann man sie meiner Meinung nach dennoch genießen. Die Pop Tarts sind hier deutlich günstiger als bei uns im Laden weshalb sie hier gerne wieder gekauft werden.
