I have 3 b curls , high porosity and fine, which tends to be on the dry side. Used Aveda b curly for years (despite the silicone) but it is pricey and recently changed formula and price! Have used Cantu in the past but found it a bit heavy but thought I would try this due to reviews. Arrived promptly and in good condition. The cream is really good, smell is pleasant and not too strong. Does not leave stickiness and curls feel soft but with a good hold. I use a gel over the top which works. As with all creams it is trial and error so start small and see how it goes. The price is great and works as well as the Aveda ay a third of the price.

Bought for my daughter who has wavy hair which I have no idea how to care for. Used after shampoo and conditioner. Only used this cream and then let hair dry naturally. Felt sticky when first applied to hair but generally happy with the results. The curls seemed more defined than usual. I think it might need to be used with a gel/crunch too for a better effect.
