When my GHDs broke a few weeks ago, my first reaction was to buy new GHDs, but then I saw this Cloud 9 straightener and gave it a go. And I'm so glad I did! They heat quickly, are easy to use, light, but most importantly, the results are amazing. I have fine hair which frizzes if I just look out the window at rain but when I've used these straighteners my hair stays straight all day. It can even last a couple of days which I've never managed before. My only slight complaint would be there is no heat mat, but the case it comes in is great for travelling with. They are expensive, but totally worth it.

I don’t usually leave reviews but, after the first use of these straighteners, I couldn’t not!I am a lifetime GHD user (replace GHD with GHD), though my head had been turned after reading ‘best straightener reviews’ and so I had been snooping around Cloud 9 for a while, undertaking some clandestine research.My GHDs broke on Monday and I received my Cloud 9s last night.This morning, I opened the box to find a gorgeous storage case holding a silicone plate sleeve, covering these sleek design straighteners.And the performance?! The most superior straightening experience ever. Don’t let the 195 temp put you off; the result is silky soft, salon style hair! There was absolutely no drag, catching or breaking and my hair is THICK. Like Monica in Barbados thick.Let this be your sign to invest in Cloud 9! I won’t be looking back!

Let me get one thing straight: I am not someone who enjoys spending ages on their hair. I used to leave my hair to just dry naturally after washing which left it looking dry and dull.I’ve recently made the conscious decision to look after my hair (I know, using high heat seems contradictory to this) so I purchased these straighteners to encourage me to use them more and look after my hair with new products/ properly drying with a hairdryer.All I can say is WOW. The results are amazing! My hair is sleek, soft and shiny, and the results last for a good couple of days which is great for me! The touch straighteners are incredibly easy to use and just feel so high quality, sliding effortlessly through my hair.The reason I didn’t like using my old straighteners was because they were cheap and not very good, now I actually enjoy doing my hair. Would 100% recommend.

Doesn't snag. Love the two tap heat up for my very unruly hair. And the automatic shut down after 30 seconds is a complete deal maker for me as two clicks and 15 seconds it's back to max. Always used GHD before but decided to give this a try rated on the reviews. It's very similar priced so no bias. 3 years warranty sold it for me and really happy I gave it a chance. Once quickly straightend it's stayed the same all day. Highly recommended.

I’ve had many GHD straighteners over the years. These by far outshine ones I’ve had in the past.Even at a lower temp than previous straighteners I’ve had, these straighten very well.The biggest thing for me is, I’ve tried to stop washing my hair everyday but straightening on the second day with old straighteners made my hair greasy. I now get up on the second day & it’s straightened so well I do t have to re straighten. No more second day greasy hair 👌

I’ve had various brands of straighteners and as my hairdresser uses cloud 9 I decided to purchase some. These are the cheaper of the variations they offer but they really are a fantastic straightener, they don’t snag or leave your hair fuzzy, my hair is nice and smooth after using them. I tend to curl my hair and these create a lovely curl too.The only reason for 4 stars is that there are 2 temperature options, it is VERY easy to accidentally tap the straighteners together and change the temperature to the highest heat without realising.If you don’t unplug your straighteners after every use (I never used to) then don’t buy these, they turn off themselves automatically but there is no physical off button so I have to unplug them each time.
