From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was well-made and built to last. The sturdy design, sleek finish, and high-quality materials give it a premium feel. Setting up the grill was a breeze, and it’s incredibly user-friendly. The built-in thermometer is a great addition, making it easy to keep an eye on cooking temperatures. The side shelves provide ample space for prepping food and keeping utensils handy. Cleaning is also simple, thanks to the removable grease tray and easy-to-clean grates. Really recommend this bbq!

Quite simply put, you cannot go wrong with this Bbq. I wanted a quality grill and that's exactly what I got.It took about an hour to assemble with clear instructions, the components were packed well and manufactured to a high standard. OK so it's not the thickest of material but for under £300 I didn't expect top grade steel. Once put together it was sturdy enough so I was happy.I want to get into smoking so I bought some gasket tape to seal the lid better as there was a bit of a gap and tried my best to seal the lever assembly but inevitably a little smoke seeped out.I seasoned it (top tip) and put it to use the next day and all I can say is wow. The heat is easy to control and lasted for hours which enabled me to cook some amazing food. (Bbq roast beef stuffed meatballs, yummy) indirect cooking is the best and this xxl grill is perfect for it.The added bonus of a heavy duty cover was a nice little bonus. Thank you Cosmo Grill. Top draw!So far the best Bbq I've owned but time will tell so if I have any issues I will update this review.
4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product but takes time to assemble
In the instruction manual it says will take 50 minutes to assemble - if you can work at the speed of light! It took me half an hour just to unpack the boxes and get the parts identified and in the right order. Once done, the assembly was fairly straightforward but you must follow the instructions diagrams exactly using all the correct size screws and bolts etc (which are clearly marked on the packaging). I managed most of the assembly on my own but it would be easier with two people - one to hold the parts in place while the other fastens them together. The only pre-assembled section is the cantilever assembly that raises and lowers the fire tray. Unfortunately, it had been pre-assembled incorrectly so I had to disassemble it and start again, which was quite easy to do once I'd worked out what the problem was. The total assembly from unpacking to final product took me about 3 hours. Having said that, it's a nice bit of kit and worth the effort.

What a great buy. Brilliant value foriney and a very big grilling space for a big family BBQ. Brilliant quality. Used it many times and still looks like new. You also have a coal height where you can up and lower the coals depending on how much heat you need.

All parts were present and in perfect condition. Instructions were easy to follow and exacting. Bbq is sturdy and well painted - should last a few years. Cast iron cooking grates are a thing of beauty. If oiled, food doesn't stick at all and the heat is more even. Easily got to temperature of 220degC with lid on. Height of charcoal tray easy to adjust while cooking. Tray takes enough charcoal to cook for a large family in one go. Easy to empty ash tray at the bottom and easy to wipe down and clean. What's not to like. I love this product. Wholeheartedly recommended. Excellent value in comparison to some expensive "lifestyle" options.
5.0 out of 5 stars Decent, good size charcoal barbecue, well made, clear instructions
Arrived extremely quickly and well packaged. It does take a bit of putting together, like any barbecue these days but the instruction booklet was very clear and step by step instructions to help the process. The fixings were in a bubble pack type thing, which made it easy to get the right bolt for the right part (a bit like opening an advent calendar for the nuts and bolts and things!). Fitting the split pins to the charcoal plate lifter was fiddly - I removed the bracket fitted at one of the early stages to the back of the barbecue to allow a little more movement to get the pin inserted and then refitted the bracket which made it easier. It does like to be level to make sure the lid shuts squarely and I've invested in some smoke sealing gasket tape to help with retaining smoke in the unit when the lid is shut (a modification recommended on one of the bbq specialist sites). It all went together really well - all holes lined up where they should and it feels like a good quality item. I've had a dry run (to "season" it and burn off any chemicals from the manufacturing process) and our first cook yesterday evening, so I'm only just getting to grips with controlling the vents to adjust the temperature. All in all, I'm very pleased with it - keep the grills cleaned and apply cooking oil before use to prevent sticking and away you go! Happy grilling/smoking!

Fantastic bbq for a medium sized family with lots of space for burgers,sausages and kebabs. Prefer the charcoaled variety over gas powered and with the warming shelf everything can be cooked together. The height settings and adjustable air flow help make the food perfect if they begin to look a darker shade of burnt.And even came with the protective cover, so don’t be a dingbat like me and order an additional one ☺️
