I had read the others reviews about ease of installation etc and took them with a pinch of salt. However it was very easy- installation took a few minutes (I noted which cable went where on the existing broken one before I swapped). Our fault was the one described as "chattering"

This was bought as a replacement for a similar switch that had failed. It is used to manage immersion heater consumption and is very effective. The only issue is that the relay component of the switch has a tendency to “ chatter” and then fail over time, (3-4 years) but having said that they’re relatively inexpensive and easy to replace.

Simple to fit and easy to use. Was a bit stumped by the fact that there’s no earth terminal, but then noticed the chocolate block in the box to connect the two earth wires together.
