Standing 8 inches tall with over 30 points of articulation, the Ultimate Alpha Predator is an entirely new sculpt kitted out with an array of accessories including a removable mask, hook, gauntlets, and 3 pairs of interchangeable hands. Classic Predator weapons such as the wrist blades, staff, and shuriken, have been reimagined to fit his unique theme.

This thing is amazing ! Hands down NECA have bested themselves with their finest (and most unique) Predator ever. It's a completely original piece designed by the Company themselves (i.e. no film, comic or Kenner basis) and it's superb!The Alpha predator uses the same body as the previous Fugitive versions, but without the netting and an original insectoid armour (a nod to the first film test outfit scrapped before filming) which is incredible - easily surpasses the rest, with a wet, organic primal look that matches the xenomorphs. The sheer amount of accessories alone is amazing. The detail and sculpting is second to none. Sure, you'll need some hot water to loosen the figure up (had to dismantle and reset (glue) the legs on mine as one was a lot longer than the other so it could not stand up, the mask also needed some heat to get it to soften enough so it would fit - since custom finished). But that's pretty normal and the box was ripped and crushed as well, but hey they're mass produced items for displaying. There's also a hidden 'Easter Egg' - Taking the gauntlets off and putting them together you get a full skull, the neck end of which fits perfectly on the backbone at one end of the staff - a skull spine! Cannot recommend this highly enough for fans or those with a passing casual interest in the franchise.

Es importante destacar que se trata de una reedición de la primer figura. Esto se detecta fácilmente por el pintado de los dientes: en la primera edición sus dientes son amarillentos; en la reedición son blanquecinos. Dicho esto, en la reedición ya no se incluye el famoso código para desbloquear el skin del juego Hunting Grounds (es importante tener esto en cuenta antes de comprar por si estás buscando el código).Contrario a la primera edición donde las articulaciones de la figura estaban demasiado flojas, en la reedición están bastante duras y es más difícil de posar. No logré nunca mantener el casco fijo sobre el rostro del depredador, más bien queda sobrepuesto.Compré la figura cuando contaba con un descuento del 50%; imagino que el descuento tenía que ver con 2 factores: 1. la caja venía ligeramente maltratada, 2. le falta uno de los pinchos de la espalda. Sin embargo, estoy más que satisfecho con la adquisición; impone bastante.
