Needed a bread bin and this is the ideal one. The only drawback is that it is self assembly

Would have been good to have known the item comes as self assembly, maybe wouldn't have bought or is that the reason.Once assembled the bread bin is surprisingly robust and should last very well.Bamboo is very easy to keep clean only needs a wipe with a damp cloth and the rolltop is surprisingly smooth in its use.

Very pleased with this product! I was slightly worried, by some reviews, that it would be difficult to assemble but the size and the price were both so good that I decided to risk it. A good move! My daughter put it together and did so in under ten minutes. The instructions were clear; the pieces all numbered and they fitted together perfectly. The result, a sturdy, good looking bread bin, without an expensive price tag! Just one thing to be aware of. Whilst it would be possible to assemble it with the kindly supplied screwdriver; she did try: but found it was much quicker and easier with a larger, better quality screwdriver.

This feels like an engineering student project where they are tasked with taking something simple but making it impossible to construct. Flimsy materials, horrendously thought out design, screws that don't fit, having to balance the box with whatever limbs available to align anything up. And at the end of the mental breakdown you end up with a bread bin barely large enough for a loaf of Warburton's. Terrible product.

Never would I have thought I’d have to build a bread bin!!!!Anyway it went together ok and looks nice. Not sure how long the roll top will last.This may be my first and last bread bin.

The media could not be loaded. Exactly what I wanted.Arrived quickly & well packaged, with everything needed.A little bit fiddly to assemble, but didn't take long (maybe 10 minutes).Fits perfectly in the kitchen where I wanted, even creating a new shelf area to put things.

This comes as a flat pack had trouble fitting the roll top on one side my.husband had to shave a bit off to make it fit. But pleased with finished product.
Sehr schöner Brotkasten!
Dieser Brotkasten ist wirklich sehr schön! Der Zusammenbau war einfach. Die Größe ist perfekt. Wir backen unser Brot selbst. Wir wickeln das fertiggebackene Brot, nachdem es erkaltet ist, in Baumwolltücher. Auf diese Weise bleibt es lange haltbar und schimmelt nicht. Wir lassen allerdings zwischendurch auch die Klappe des Brotkorbes auf, damit wirklich kein Schimmel entsteht. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und können den Brotkasten nur empfehlen.
Schwierig aufzubauen
Der Aufbau des Brotkastens war äußerst schwierig. Die Anleitung war nur sehr ungenau und die Bauteile haben nur zu ca. 95% zueinander gepasst. Mit dem mitgelieferten Schraubendreher war der Zusammenbau allerdings nicht möglich, ein elekrischer Schraubendreher war eine gute Hilfe.Wenn der Brotkasten aufgebaut ist, sieht er gut aus. Lediglich das "Rolltor" läuft teilweise etwas hakelig.
