There's only one button, which you have to keep pressed to keep it going, and one speed, but that's pretty much all I need. Peeled and segmented a couple of oranges, chopped an apple, handful of grapes, roughly chopped some fresh ginger and whizzed up in no time. I was half expecting to have to stir it up, but with a bit of "pulsing" it circulates the contents just fine so that all are evenly blitzed.I thought at first that I'd have to send it back because it was dripping, but it was simply that I had to screw the blade unit into the bottle rather more firmly than I first thought, because a) it has to make a liquid-tight fit (obviously) and b) it has to be extra-tight enough not to unscrew when releasing from the base unit with an anticlockwise twist. That would be messy!It comes with two identical bottles, each with a flip-up cap. When not in use the cap is stored on the base of the bottle. It's threaded but the base isn't, so it looks like it doesn't fit, but be firm with it and it snaps on. A good touch is that it comes with 3 spare plastic/rubber washers for if/when the seal starts to leak after much use. I can't see how I'd remove the old washer without chewing it up, but hopefully the replacement will fit in no prob.The instructions say not to store with the blade unit in place. I'm interpreting that as don't put the blade unit into the base unless it's attached to the bottle, not only for safety reasons but that's the only way you'll get it off again.Overall, good value.

I often use hard veg and fruits to blend, such as carrots and apples. Never had any issues with my smoothies. Great product

Manual recommends no more than 40 seconds use. 2 functions are powerful and blades work well even on ice cubes. Plastic bottles are hard to keep clean but you get 2. A good buy overall.

Excellent design. Having two cups is really useful. I filled the cup with my smoothly mix, screwed the blade onto the cup, then turned it over and slotted it onto the base, zapped it for approximately 10 seconds and hey presto, the perfect smoothy! The lid fits onto the bottom of the cup (just push it on and unclip it when needed) - once fitted, you can still stand the cup up, such a clever design. I now make a smoothy each morning as it is so quick and easy - no more messing about with fiddly blades. Cleaning it is a dream. The base is not bulky either and looks good enough to leave it out of the cupboard. I would highly recommend this product.

This has lasted me exactly a year and is now destined for the tip. The plastic materials in the base aren't made to last and the smell of friction / wear was noticable from first use. Only used for one smoothie a day containing frozen strawberries, everything else was soft. So depends how often you'll use it as to how long it'll last. Two smoothies a day and it might need replacing in 6 months!

With this blender you get two 600ml bottles. H and I have made 2 milkshakes so far, strawberry and a banana and grape.It was soo easy. Put your dry ingredients into the bottle, add the liquid, put the blending lid on turn it upside down and. Place in the blender. Press the on/off button for a few seconds at a time until the mixture is as you want. There is only one button and only one speed . This is so quick and easy. Very light weight and everything apart from the motor is dishwasher safe. The only negative is that the lids are supposed to fit on the bottom of the bottle for storage - they don’t fit.

This is a great blender for proteins shakes and smoothies. I also use it make small batches of curry base sauces. I live alone so I only need to make small batches. Blends spices, onions, cabbage, tomatoes etc perfectly find.Highly recommend.For people complaining about the dangers of the blade, I would question how you're using it. When you screw the blade onto the cup there is no danger. I can't see a situation where you'd need to put the blade on the blender first, since whatever is in the cup would fall out if you did this.

It blends smoothly and the battery lasts a good amount of time. Very convenient for quick smoothies.
