Great bit of kit. Fitterd in en suite shower room as the original fan failed, this is a considerable upgrade and works exactly as described. No issue with the run on timer as mentioned in previous post. Very easy to install and by all standards pretty quiet when running as well, installed in the roof void above the shower room and fixed to a wood beam.

I'm extremely impressed with the VENTS UK 4 inch Loft Mounted Inline Shower Ceiling Powerful Ventilation Fans. I purchased two, and both their performance and ease of installation are top-notch.Fitting them was a breeze thanks to the clear, comprehensive instructions. Once installed, these fans provide powerful, silent ventilation, effectively controlling dampness and odours in my bathrooms without any noticeable noise.The Run On Timer feature is incredibly convenient, ensuring thorough damp control. There are arrow signs on the side of the fan indicating airflow, what you need to know is one arrow points one way indicating airflow the other arrow points to a QRcode which points in the other direction. Be aware of this. I installed the fan with the airflow in the wrong direction. Why they would do this is beyond me. However The fan is of good quality and silent.

Replaced my old extractor. This one was slightly smaller than the original, but it fits , as the extractor is spaced a distance from the extraction point, and the exit point, so no fitting issues. So far it seems to work well, is fairly quiet running, and easily installed.

Excellent fan. Easy install as long as you ignore the stupid arrow pointing to the bar code. I like the idea of being able to clean it without dismantling the whole thing. It weighs considerably more than the old in-line fane and feels substantial. I can’t hear the fan but obviously you can hear the air being extracted. Nice product.

The fan has been doing a decent job of venting the shower area, however disappointed that in a smidge over a year installed it has not got very noisy and sounds like a jet engine on take off.Too noisy to we need to now replace it.
