The tripod is light and very sturdy for the weight. The head seems good quality. I use it with my Skywatcher AZ-GTi WiFi GOTO AZ and 127mm MAK and it handles the weight fine. Also more than capable of taking my DSLR with 400mm lens.The bright orange accents aren't very stealthy, but this is not an issue for me and actually helps at night when using with the telescope.

I’ve had this for a few weeks and have used it on a couple of hill walks in the Peak District. The tripod is really light yet sturdy and so make it ideal for strapping onto my backpack. The only issue I’ve had (and it’s minor) is that one of the feet nearly came off - it has unscrewed without my knowledge and might have dropped off had I not noticed. I’ll probably hit it with some Loctite to stop it happening again.Overall, highly recommended - I really like K&F products and this is another great item

Small and lightweight, but quite flimsy. Not really suitable for a larger mirrorless camera with bigger lens'. Without a camera on it it wobbled very easily.Very well made with nice detail, but not for my needs. Would be ok for a small lightweight camera. Good enough for travel and luggage.

One of the best TP I have owned and I have owned a few. Very well made and very strong, and comes in a cease which is also very well made. I can highly recommend this for amateurs and professionals alike.However, one thing lets it down and that's the last set of legs, once fully extended the TP becomes a little wobbly even with a supporting weight underneath. But the good news is you don't really need to use the last set of legs because the top extension gives you the hight you need.

If you are looking for a very lightweight medium priced Tripod for practically any camera then I can highly recommend this one. Once you have discovered the multiple options you have using it, you should be very happy with your purchase at this price point. I am.

I purchased this tripod to use when travelling, where the cost for a Carbon Fibre tripod compared to others on the market was very attractive I have a more heavy duty K&F Concept tripod I use, and am very happy with it but it's cumbersome for travel. I was excited to use this one on a big trip to the US. I packed very easily and is super light - however, the way the legs unscrew to extend was a problem, where there is no stopper to maximise the leg extension, so the legs would often unscrew and fall off. Disappointingly, whilst hiking, two of the legs came loose and now live somewhere in Yosemite National Park. I tried contacting K&F directly who were very difficult to reach and communicate with - but thankfully Bolo helped and provide a full refund for the item. One star for the product but five stars for the Bolo customer service.

Lightweight and portable—just what I needed!

Because it’s made of carbon fiber, it’s incredibly light and compact. It fits easily in my backpack, which means I no longer have to deal with carrying heavy tripods around. It holds my camera very securely—I never once felt unsure about its stability.I had an issue with a previous order, but the customer service team was super responsive and helpful. That experience gave me the confidence to reorder, and this time everything went perfectly. Huge thanks to the team—I'm really happy with this purchase!

Some components are cheap and break

Light and sturdy at first! But then two components broke in the first couple of weeks. The first was a plastic gasket on the neck which cracked, after which I could not extend the tripod to its max height. Later a spring in one of the legs broke. I ended up returning the item.

As a photographer and filmmaker who’s frequently on the move, finding a tripod that strikes the right balance between portability and performance has always been a challenge. This carbon fiber tripod exceeded my expectations in nearly every way. It’s incredibly lightweight — small and light enough to pack in a carry-on without stressing about airline weight limits — but still sturdy enough to confidently support my mirrorless camera rig with a cine lens and monitor attached.The fluid head is smooth and responsive, making it a joy to use for video work. I’ve shot interviews, landscapes, and B-roll across three countries with this thing, and the pan and tilt are consistently buttery, without any of the jerkiness you get from cheaper heads. I also love the height range — it’s tall enough for standing interviews, and the reversible center column lets me get creative with low-angle shots when needed.Bonus points for the fact that it converts into a monopod, which came in handy more than once during fast-moving documentary shoots where I didn’t have time (or space) to set up the full tripod. The rubber feet with spike options, twist-lock legs, and accessory mounts are thoughtful touches that show this was built with working pros in mind. If you travel often and want a truly reliable tripod that doesn’t weigh you down, this one’s a no-brainer.
