I bought this to replace one I had for years with no trouble. It is small and compact, seems fast in transferring files and very quiet, I like the light that tells ma its working. But my favourite bit is that I can simply drag my files to the icon and it loads the to the hard drive and done.Would reccomend and buy again if needed.

XBOX Erweiterung
Ich habe mir überlegt, bei meiner Xbox die interne Festplatte gegen eine größere zu tauschen. Nach etwas Recherche schien mir die ganze Konsole für mehr Speicherplatz zu zerlegen doch etwas zu aufwendig.Also suchte ich nach einer schnellen und brauchbaren Alternative. Da bieten sich natürlich Externe Festplatten super an! Anfangs suchte ich nach einer SSD, wobei diese für eine Erweiterung der Xbox nicht notwendig ist, da in der Xbox One selbst nur eine HDD verbaut ist. Jede externe HDD ist heutzutage leiser als die interne der Xbox. Problem gelöst! Es muss also nur eine HDD mit USB 3.0 sein.Die Seagate Basic mit 1TB ist für meine Anforderungen die Preisgünstigste Markenplatte die ich finden konnte.Sie wurde schnell geliefert, ist dezent verpackt und fühlt sich nach dem auspacken sehr wertig an. Die Festplatte ist so klein und flach wie es für eine 2,5" nur geht, sieht also top aus und findet schnell mal Platz wenn sie transportiert werden muss. Des weiteren ist sie sehr sehr leise, man hört sie neben der Xbox kaum und spürt auch keine Vibrationen wenn sie arbeitet.Das formatieren über die Xbox ging unter 10 Sekunden und die HDD war startklar. Ziel war es ca. 500GB von der internen auf die externe Festplatte zu übertragen. Alles auf einmal war wohl zu viel, es kam sofort eine Fehlermeldung. Ob dies an der Externen HDD, oder doch an der Xbox liegt bleibt ein Rätsel.Ich drittelte die 500GB und konnte die Datenmenge Problemlos verschieben.Die Spiele werden nun von der Externen HDD bezogen. Bis jetzt gibt es keine Probleme mit aufwendigen Spielen die auf dem 4K Fernseher angezeigt werden. Die Übertragung der Daten findet schnell genug statt.Alles in allem, für meine Zwecke eine Top Lösung, die problemlos funktioniert! Auch für den PC als stationäres externes Speichermedium, sicher eine kostengünstige Alternative zu den immer noch teureren SSDs. Wer also nicht auf schnelle Datenübertragung angewiesen ist und diese HDD nur als sekundäres Speichermedium nutzen möchte, kann diese Festplatte ohne bedenken kaufen!
