The bin itself is well made. I previously bought a black and silver one and thought they would be the same. (matching, but different colours). Not so. Black and silver is much nicer. I do like how easy it is to get the bag of rubbish out.No more pulling and pulling until fingers go through the bag!

Bin - good. Bags - bad
Bin is a bin does as it should for the price. But DONT OPT FOR THE BIN BAGS. They’re cheap and nasty slightly too small and tear as you fight to separate them
Cat proof!
We've tried several different types of kitchen waste bins from the automatic "touch free" expensive types , through the very nice aluminium pedal bins but having recently acquired two kittens, life has had to be adjusted as they grow.The automatic one worked OK until it gave up the ghost after about 4 years and is now confined to the garage. Pre-cats we got a "one touch and it opens" bin which was great until the cats jumped on the top and it opened so the cat went in the bin! That is now also in the garage! Next attempt was a nice aluminium pedal bin but the plastic bag liner was visible all round the top under the closed lid - great toy for kittens! Having trawled through Bolo and other websites, this cheap as chips Addis plastic bin is the only one we could find where the plastic bag liner is concealed under the lid overhang - Eureka cat proof! We've got the metallic grey one, 50 litres capacity so its a great size, which looks OK and you can use it as a pedal bin or lift the lid manually. The only slight snag is that you mustn't try to do both these actions at once or the lid pops off its hinges! It doesn't open quite fully with the pedal but will do so if opened manually. This is manageable! I hope it last a long time because I don't want or need another bin in the garage!
