This order arrived promptly was well packaged and secure. Unfortunately the product is unsuitable for my use. Have been using glucose from various sources for around 13 years. It is mixed with bicarb, salt and a fruit juice to form a rehydration solution for medical use. This is a very fine powder which does not readily dissolve in cold water. It gathers in a sticky lump on the stirring spoon. I have never experienced this before so reluctantly will have to return this and try elsewhere for Glucose which is becoming harder to source

Like others, I found this product did not dissolve in fluids at any temperature. The company representative I spoke to explained that as it is dried glucose syrup, it has to be properly dispersed when added to fluids. I didn't have any guidance on how to do this, but he kindly offered to send me some simple dextrose monohydrate at no extra cost.

I have purchased glucose powder many times before, but this was the first time for this product. This is dried glucose syrup, which has a different consistency. If you try to dissolve in cold liquid it returns to being a lump of congealed gloop. It is also not sweet. Normally I use on cereal and as a regular sweetner, but this product does not really work in this capacity. I would not purchase again.
