Put them in the corridor to reach the stairs, if you don't want to put the ceiling light on in the middle of the night, you have these along the path. Two light settings, and switch on with movement (Switches: Auto - On - Off) does exactly what was required. And can be used for weeks at a time before needing a charge.

Excellent little light unit. Easy to set up PIR switch works well. Bright enough glow without being obtrusive. Well made and great value. Neat design and rechargeable so not costly batteries. Choice of auto or permanent switches.

These great little lights light up dark corners, stairways, or hallways when you don’t need a light all the time. They took very little time to charge up and work perfectly when detecting movement. The lights are activated instantly and stay on for about 20 seconds. They can be moved around or easily stuck to surfaces using the magnetic fitting. Will be useful in unfamiliar surroundings such as hotel rooms / bathrooms for those night time trips to the loo!

These are brilliant little lights, which we brought as night lights for the stairway and bathrooms.We also use them on holiday, as we find most hotel bathrooms have no windows, hence the need for these amazing little lights, also useful on cruise ships too.No drilling into walls either as these units come with a small metal disc that can be stuck to anywhere you need it.The light unit is magnetic and attaches to the disc, once you've done that select the light setting you require, then place unit on metal disc, job done.Lights are small but powerful, and can be charged up, they also last for ages between charges.Value for money, and I definitely would recommend them to all.

Bought to use as a nightlight when staying in hotels. I don't use the PIR function and I only need the dim setting. There are two light levels and using the low light setting the lights easily stay illuminated over night. They provide a low level of light enough to see your way to a bathroom without switching on room lights and disturbing others in the room who may be trying to sleep. Frequently we have stayed in accommodation where there has been a lip or step to the bathroom making a trip hazard - being able to see with a low light whilst keeping the room dark overall is really useful. The magnet on the back means you can stick one to a radiator or other magnetic surface, but for my use just leaving one lying on the floor out of the way works fine. The units are nice and small, weigh very little and take hardly any space to pack. As they are rechargeable with USB (cable provided) they are very convenient to use. A useful addition to our travel kit! I think as PIR lights for use when motion is detected they would also work very well, but this wasn't my use case.

These lights are small,but they provide great light at night so main lights are not needed.Can be used in wardrobes, bedrooms or stairs. Like the fact that are rechargeable. You also can choose from bright or warm light.Just purchased another set.A great purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:When I first glanced at this item, I really like the idea of the motion detector and the rechargeable internal battery. I actually do find this product to be quite useful for what I use it for. I personally wanted to. Light up my hallway at night when I needed to go from my bed to the bathroom. It does well for that purpose. Generally, I charge the battery every 6 to 8 weeks. The magnetic base does fairly well, but the light will easily fall if bumped or hit hard enough. The light itself has a fairly low amount of lumens. However, I believe good for if you want just enough light to see by at night.  I know there is a way to connect the base to the wall with the adhesive. However, because I am renting, and do not wish to cause damage to the wall decided to use tape instead.

I set one of these little lights on my night table and stuck one on the mirror in the bathroom. When I get up during the night, the one next to my bed comes on and lights my way until I reach the bathroom door. Then the little light in the bathroom comes on. No more fumbling for a flashlight or turning on a bright bed lamp. I am completely satisfied with this handy and convenient little light.

Handy little motion lights! They work well. This set actually put in their instructions that the motion light only works in dark lighting. The different set I had bought and returned, I returned because I thought they didn't work right. But I was trying to test them in daylight. The instructions never said anything about they HAD to be in dark lighting. My little dog is aging and can't see as well anymore in the dark to climb the little step onto our bed at night. So this works well for her to see now! I put the other one in our little bathroom closet, so it comes on when we step in there in the middle of the night.
