These earplugs are a tried and tested method of reducing background noise when sleeping, relaxing, studying and traveling. Silicone earplugs are easy to mold and are the modern alternative to wax. Instructions for use - Please follow carefully failure of these instructions may result in serious injury. Step 1 with clean hands, roll ball between fingers for 20 seconds to soften the silicone before applying. Guarantee earplugs retain ball shape. Step 2 ensure the ear is clean and dry. Worn on the head and lift up the ear up. Step 3 Minimum pressure, use your thumb to gently press silicone ball on external ear canal input to seal. Do not push into the ear canal. Do not roll in cone or cylinder does not sink into ear canal do not divide earplugs into smaller pieces do not wash or reuse significantly: choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children. Suitable for adult home use only. These ear plugs are designed to cover the external ear canal only. Store in a cool, dry place. Caution: These ear plugs are not to be inserted into the ear canal like foam ear plugs, they should be molded to create a seal on the ear pinnacle and should only be inserted into the auricle itself. Attention: If used in such a way it is possible that a small part of these silicone earplugs will break and lodge in the ear bud if the earplugs together are not removed. The wearer requires some dexterity to remove these plugs together. If you feel you are not able to do what we advise you get help from someone who is able to remove them all or try another product, such as a PU foam ear plug.

These have proved the best earplugs for me as they are malleable when warmed in the hand so mould well to the ear allowing a really good fit . I don’t I like the ear blocked and keep the noise out and as I live on a main road these are essential for a good sleep .I reuse them so a pair could last over a weekGreat price and do the job and this is what counts

I have been using these for years. I’ve got very sensitive ears and cannot abide anything expanding. I squish and warm one plug before splitting in half. I push the halves into my ears just enough to dull sound. This is usually adequate sound dampening for sleeping in hotel rooms or a tent. It would not be suitable in very noisy environments. The earplugs do not cause me pain. They usually stay in all night and I am a restless sleeper. I like that, if there was an alarm or someone trying to get your attention, they are not robbing all sound. I find this a comfort. I presume a full plug per ear might be better sound dampening? Oh, and it says single use but I generally get 2-3 nights out of them as long as my ears are clean!!

These are, or should I say used to be amazing earplugs. I have lived next to some really inconsiderate neighbours over the years and these plugs have saved me from what would probably have been many sleepless nights.If I'd written this review 1 year ago, I would have given 5 stars without hesitation. The material is very dense, but also easily moulds to the exact shape of the ear, forming a very effective sound barrier. They are also quite tacky when you spend a few seconds rolling them between your fingers, which helps them stay in place when applied to the ear.The reason I have gone for 4 stars is because I am afraid to say the makers appear to have gone the same way as many other retailers and have slightly reduced the size of the plugs. This, in my opinion, has significantly reduced the efficacy of the product. I am now finding that I wake in the middle of the night to find one or both plugs have fallen out. It is also much harder to achieve a good seal when inserting the plugs and, due to the reduced size, I am left with little option but to push the plug further down the ear canal before it feels like it is firmly in place (this, by the way is explicitly not recommended by the product makers).So I will use up my current batch of ear plugs, then probably buy some more with a hope they will start making them a bit bigger again. Otherwise I think I will have to source an alternative in the future.Its a real shame, because I have been using them for about 10 years and this issue has only surfaced in the past few months.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I’ve used Loop earplugs for years, and they really are very good and stylish. However, my wife has upgraded her snoring to Olympic grade level and, rather than spending 20 plus years in prison for smothering her, I gave these a go.They are excellent. They’re certainly not stylish and, however clean you are, they will discolour after a couple of days or so and if they really want to escape your ear they will, and you’ll wake up finding one stuck to your back or something, but they are genuinely superb. I ignore the advice of not forcing them into the ear canal - I would use a drain rod to get them in further if I could - and the noise reduction has got to be something like 90%. Anyway, my wife sleeps on and I haven’t been arrested or live in the shed yet! 😁
