These cheeses was absolutely gorgeous.I got these for my partner and I on our anniversary yesterday. We had a selection of cheeses and crackers with a nice bottle of wine too. Absolutely beautiful!

Snowdonia Cheese Company.Black Bomber. A cheddar of indisputable and reliable quality. Always worth it, always sublime. Kept free range, only line caught never netted, as wild and perfect as cheese comes... impervious to anti-aircraft missile systems, bursting with layers of taste, only open when safely defused on the ground...

Really enjoyed this cheese, especially the Amber Mist. Bought for a special occasion so didn't mind paying a bit extra. Packaging wasn't anything special but frankly I only cared about the cheese anyway, and they look very appealing in their colourful wax. Texture was creamy and delicious, flavour was excellent, I would certainly buy these again for another special occasion.

Bought for Christmas - they turned up yesterday, i.e. prompt delivery and made on this occasion by DPD. I could not resist opening 'the box' in which was 'straw' with the 3 cheeses embedded. I placed the truckles in the fridge by 9pm one of them was out of the fridge. By 9.30 the one with chili and peppers was being consumed. Just the right amount of heat in this lovely red cheddar. I chose Red Devil to try as wish to keep the other two especially for the big day - BUT the way things look at present i.e. two weeks almost to go, there is the possibility that they may not make it. Lost one star as I think they could be a tad bigger for the price.

My second order with this company and again I'm delighted with both the product and service. The cheeses were absolutely delicious and arrived the day after I ordered them, well boxed up and protected with a cool pack inside to keep the cheeses chilled. Five star service - my husband was over the moon with his birthday present :)

I asked to have the black bomber replaced with a beechwood for a gift for my husband. I made a product customisation request to the company and Barry came back to say he would get that sorted for me.Very helpful and quick.

The cheese is delicious and the recipient really loved it. Three stars for lack of packaging. I was expecting the box shown, but the cheese was in a bag with a cold pack. As it was a gift, that was very disappointing and a poor presentation.
