I've been a Cricut fan since buying and Explore 3 last autumn. I had a go at iron on vinyl but found it difficult to get the vinyl to stick with a standard iron as I had little control of the temperature and was concerned not to burn the garment. So during the last Prime day I ordered the 9" heat press, and very impressive it is.Simply set the temperature and time, place it over the HTV on the garment and press the timer. When it beeps, remove. I made my wife a printed t-shirt for her birthday using an iron, but after being worn a couple of the letters started peeling. Shortly after I received this press, so repeated the heating process using it. Despite the garment having been washed, the press meant that the vinyl bonded really well to the garment. About six washes in and everything is still looking good.This is very easy to use and comes with a durable plastic iron stand and carry bag. I might look at getting a mat to use under the garment, in case I dabble with infusible ink.An excellent upgrade for anyone wanting to apply HTV.

I have wanted this cricut easy press for a long time and thanks to Bolo offering affordable monthly payments I decided it was now or never and just a few weeks later and I have no regrets i absolutely love it.The instructions are simple and easy to understand as well as a sample included to get you started and help familiarise yourself with the basic use. A lot more information can be found on the cricut heat guide online where you are given diagrams and precise information.It heats up quickly and beeps when it's ready also changes from red to green on/off button..... The only thing is.. it does take a long time to cool down but that's not an issue with how well it works. You only need to press a few buttons to get started temperature and timer and it does the rest of the work for you all you have to do is hold it down really! I love it .. its brilliant the results are just amazing and I highly recommend.

Been wanting an easy press for a while. This came up at a good price.So far not disappointed with the results. It is reassuring to that the temperature for transferring to the subject will be more accurate than an iron.Ease of use and not too heavy.

Having got a Cricut Easypress mini for Christmas & been bitten by the bug, I soon ventured into making things which needed a bigger sized heatpress. At 9x9 this does the job well for most things I’m making. Settings are controlled on the heatpress itself rather than a smartphone app like the newer ones- it’s personal taste as to whether that’ll suit, but I prefer it all on the heatpress. My only gripe would be that the uk plug doesn’t fit into the space under the handle when you tuck the cable in, which makes it difficult to get it into the storage bag after use without risking scratching the top of the press. If the handle was raised by another 5mm you could safely tuck it in. Love the little bag it comes with & practice iron on glitter transfer.

This is so easy to use, you set the temperature and the timer, it will beep when it is ready and off you go. It is important to use on a hard, flat surface and then either use a heat press mat or a towel underneath to protect your surface. You should use a teflon sheet or greaseproof paper between your heatpress and your HTV.Downsides - can't get my laptop to detect it, meaning I can't update the firmware or register it for a guarantee. Will be trying on a different pc soon. Quite pricy, but hopefully it lasts well and it is so much more even than an iron.

I had used an iron for vinyl logos for years but decided to treat myself to the mid size easy press. It is so much easier. No ironing hoping you’ve covered the whole logo just adjust the heat settings and hold on the logo until it completes a timed countdown. There’s a free app with all the temps/timings you need. I also bought the mat and that’s really good too. I use it with a mini iron for pressing seams when sewing.
