I should have focused on the weight/m2 rather than the price, but it has done an adequate job as a weed suppressant fabric on my rose bed and a suitable base for chipped bark. The fabric is surprisingly tough. However it is TOO THIN if you have stoney ground or want to use it under gravel.

Just be aware, this must be put the right way up (one way it will let water pass, the other way it wont)!If it is placed the wrong way it will flood the area as water will not pass through itThis isn't explained in the package and this omission is poor.Test it yourself before laying.

Used this to create bespoke bed coverings at my allotment. It's easy to cut and seals well with strong tape. I have had this in place in all weather since I bought it and its still as I want it to look. I have also used it under decorative stones in my garden ans it didn't tear when pouting. Good product.

I have now bought 3 rolls of these GardenGloss 50m²/50 meters x1 meters Ogräsduk Trädgårdsduk Mot Ogräs. (Roll of landscape fabric) I am very pleased with the quality. Thick enough to be able to put stakes through the material, without tearing. And also perfect to place lengths overlapping each other a few centimeters and placing the stakes through both fabrics so they stop any weeds. A layer of bark mulch on top, and no one knows or can see the weeds. Hoping they will last for at least 2 yrs. Then hopefully the weeds and roots will be dead and I can much easier prepare for a real lawn. But, will keep using this type of fabric around my garden beds and pathways. The price is also in my budget.
