I bought this for my daughter as a beginner machine, she had difficulty with it so when I tried to use it I also found it difficult to use and I've been sewing for 40+years. Not the best quality, draw is stiff doesn't hold much and in an awkward place on the side. Light switch also in an odd place. On off switch starts sewing when you switch on. Only manages about 3 stitches before needle jams on the baseplate bending the needle, also awkward to thread the machine, there's a small hole just above where the needle sits to thread through rather than just a slot making it fiddly, you need to lower the needle to be able to get to this. Definitely not worth the money very cheap looking quality. Getting a refund.

Overall I was very pleased with the machine and once I got used to operating it found it easy enough. The stitching program is good and result also good.Bobbin not easy to load however but I overcome that by using my full size sewing machine which loads bobbins separately . Also, the drop in bobbin cover which slides into place does not stay put when using the machine.The machine can be powered by batteries however I found when loading 4 conventional AA batteries in to the appropriate box it was difficult to fit them all in and then not being able to successfully close the box with the result of one of the batteries being ejected .The dimensions of the AA batteries are just too big for a good fit.

Never used a sewing machine in my life, so didn't want to pay much. I got it and it is really easy to use. There are however some niggles which have come with using for only 3 weeks.It would be nice to have a seem measurement guide on the plate. I didn't know or understand this at first, but now I get it. I guess it is teaching me how to sew straight without a guide, but it is annoying.Buying accessories. Trying to buy accessories is very difficult. I couldn't find this model anywhere, however, it appears to be a generic model which matches a Hyundai model where you can get accessories, including different feet. The only problem is those accessories are extremely expensive.The bobbin winder is not very good and there are limitations with the cotton.Long term, it would have been cheaper to buy a more expensive machine. But at least I've learnt a lesson about it.On the plus side, it is easy to use and has already taught me a lot about sewing despite these minor issues. It is lightweight and gets the minor jobs done. It can just about manage making masks, but I have gotten the sewing bug, so it is no longer enough for me.Not a bad little machine, but I've already outgrown it. I guess the machine being so easy to use may have contributed to that. Sewing seems very easy with it. Great for beginners and will quickly give you the urge to sew more.If you don't plan to do much sewing and need it to fix minor issues, then this might just be the machine for you. Bobbin installation is easy-ish. It can get through 6 layers of cotton with a bit of persuasion.

I liked the fact it was lightweight as I have arthritis. I could not for personal reason use the machine until after the return date. The light does not work, it is difficult to thread with fingers that do not bend easily, and as I bought it to shorten trousers and skirt hems, etc, I find the machine is not happy sewing over side seams. Also, a comprehensive guide to the stitch selection would certainly be useful if I were a beginner. I certainly would not recommend this machine especially to a beginner, as the user instructions were poor. Disappointing.

I thought this was poor quality when I opened it and sure enough although I got it to work on some very basic light work it started to jam and bent two needles. I wouldn’t recommend

Reliable for at-home tailoring
I always buy clothes that don't fit quite right, hoping that I'll take them to the seamstress and get them tailored... But I never do. So, I figured the next best solution was to get myself a machine and learn. I was looking for something not too expensive, but still reliable and this was perfect. I honestly can't believe I didn't get it sooner. I had zero knowledge of how to use a sewing machine and with a few youtube videos here and there it's very easy to get the hang of it. I've already fixed the length of two pants, taken in two dresses at the waist, sewn the cleavage and shortened the length of a dress. All in one day and zero knowledge prior.It's compact and it works. It does look like a toy, but I promise it works perfectly (specially for the use I described). It's also got so many stitching patterns, which is pretty neat!The only thing I would argue is a bit tricky (trickier than I've seen in other branded machines) is threadding the bobbin (the thread at the bottom). Singers seem to be much easier in this sense because they have it explained well right on the machine. I had a bit of trouble figuring it out because unlike the top thread, the bottom doesn't have any steps or good explanation on the manual.
