It is very hot. Gives a wonderful.acrid flavour but be careful when cooking with it. I recommend measuring it out and cooking on a moderate heat in a well.ventialted kitchen and keeping a lid on the pan. I did my usual thing, with all the windows closed but the kitchen door open to the rest of the house I tipped an unmeasured amount into a pan of pil and dices on a high heat and the vapour was a bit overwhelming!

FANSTASTICSmells and tastes of pure Scotch Bonnet chilli.....although a slight reduction in fire/heat that I normally get from Africian grown Sctoch Bonnets....think Kenya or Morocco.So instead of half and teaspoon of chilli, its just one heaped teaspoon in my curries and that's hot enough, although I could easily add two more teaspoons to make hot enough for my taste buds.I do like very hot chillies, so this Jamaican variety is more than hot enough for the chilli lover.
