The power cord is a good length so easily connects to my extension box by my side.The control is part of the power cord and has a simple LES display with three buttons on the front and a slider on the side to turn it off or on.There are two numbers displayed - one is the heat setting and the second is the timer setting. These are controlled by the top two of the front buttons. The third button is for “high” which I’ve never had to use but presumably gives a boost to the temperature.Even on the coldest day I’ve not yet had the temperature above 3. The temperature runs from 1-9 so there is a lot of leeway left for me.I’m really happy with this purchase and recommended it to a few friends already, it’s one of those products where I think “why didn’t I get one sooner!” You can use it in bed but I’m going to get a larger one to go under my sheet and keep this for my living room, it is extremely soft and cozy, if considering a purchase I advise you to give it a go. No regrets!

Super soft and lovely and warm! Saved us through the winter months! It's a bit odd at first because you can tell there are wires in the blanket but its not uncomfortable at all. Me and my partner both fit under it comfortably too. It can also detach from the power plug for storage or if you just want to use and a regular blanket

Bought this for my 96 year old mother for Christmas. She adored it. Lovely and soft and really warm even on a low setting. Unfortunately it stopped heating up after a month. Contacted the seller and got really swift advice on how to reset. when this didn't work they immediately sent out a new controller which solved the problem. Couldn't fault the after-sales support. Really impressed!

I use this basket a lot. It is warm and comfortable. After many months the controller started to show an error message and didn’t work. The seller sent me a new controller straight away and it works again just as before. Thank you. Uses much much less electricity than the heater I used to use.
