Very useful for basic code detection and clearing faults. You would need a more advanced code reader for a proper diagnostic of course, but for the price this is a fantastic deal.

Apart from the manual written in a form of English known only to the manufacturers, this has been excellent. The screen is backlit and very clear and the whole device is powered from the car's OBD port. There's enough cable to get the scanner into a comfortable position as well. Quickly diagnosed the engine fault code. It's not professional quality, but for quick home use it's more than sturdy enough.

Had a 'check engine' light appear on my sons 2011 Corsa. It was very easy, plugged this in myself and got a code. The code indicated a sensor, so I brought a new sensor for the Corsa and changed it. The 'check engine' light no longer appears. I'm very happy.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Didn't even read any codes followed what the manual said and it didn't even work at all. Absolutele scam Ease of use:Chose this as it looked easy( never making this mistake again)

Diese Tester ist wirklich super und funktioniert easy ich habe einen Renault Twingo 2001 und der lässt sich trotzdem auslesen ich hatte das mit einem Renault Tester versucht aber der hatte z.b nicht funktioniert und dieser Tester für 20 € mit Versand ist einfach super anstecken auslesen fertig
Einfache Handhabung
Das Gerät ist wirklich leicht zu bedienen und Handzuhanen. Einfach anstecken, Motor an machen, Fehler auslesen und gegebenfalls Fehler löschen. War überrascht wie einfach es ging und wie leicht verständlich das Gerät ist. Es zeigt die Fehlercodes an die man sich dann im Internet selbst raus suchen muss. Aber das ist ok. Ich kann das Gerät mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Für den Preis kann man denk ich nichts falsch machen und man kann selbst mal eben schauen was nicht in Ordnung ist.
Unbrauchbar – Funktionen nur teilweise oder gar nicht vorhanden
Das RICOKEY OBD2 Diagnosegerät klingt auf dem Papier gut, ist aber in der Praxis leider nicht zu gebrauchen.Probleme & Mängel❌ Viele versprochene Funktionen fehlen oder funktionieren nur eingeschränkt.❌ Fehlerspeicher wird nicht zuverlässig ausgelesen – einige Codes werden gar nicht erkannt.❌ Anzeige auf dem LCD-Bildschirm unklar und schwer lesbar.❌ Verbindung zum Fahrzeug instabil, manchmal wird das Gerät nicht erkannt.FazitDieses OBD2-Gerät erfüllt nicht, was es verspricht. Die Fehlerauslese ist lückenhaft, und die meisten Funktionen sind entweder nicht vorhanden oder unzuverlässig. Es gibt deutlich bessere Alternativen.⭐ Nicht empfehlenswert! ⭐
Es tut, was es soll.
Ich habe ein Gerät gesucht mit dem ich preiswert Auslesen kann, warum meine Abgaskontrollleuchte immer wieder mal Signal gibt. Der Fehlercode wurde einwandfrei ausgelesen und ließ sich problemlos löschen. Die Bedienung ist einfach und fast selbsterklärend. Die Betriebssprache ließ sich einfach auf deutsch ändern, allerdings blieb die Fehlermeldung Englisch....da muss man dann den Code mal googeln und findet problemlos OBD 2 Codes....Ist für das Geld vielleicht auch ein bisschen viel verlangt. Alles in Allem eine praktische, handliche Geschichte. Und man kann besser einschätzen, was gerade los ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Ein Punkt Abzug, weil die BA ausschließlich Englisch ist.

Für mein altes Auto ist es sehr gut. Ich kann alles auslesen und weiß, was ich machen muss. Für das Geld sehr gut.
