Latest edit: Bit of a joke, 2nd delivery with broken bottles, this time however I didn't notice it in time as the box was intact. Royal Mail Delivery both times. If only we could specify which carrier to avoid.Edit: The last delivery was quite good, so I might order some more, just not for now.I really loved this drink, and at a decent price if bought in the 750ml variant in packs of 6. I've been enjoying it for over 3 months, love the real ginger and the blend seemed great. However over the last couple of deliveries, I have had a couple or so of bottles that have been quite different to the others. One just tasted sugary all the way through and the other popped as I opened it loosing quite a bit of it as it spilled, taste was kind of ok but I decided not to have anymore as I was concerned that impurities or similar might have affected it. The last few have been ok but I am concerned about the now obvious variability in each bottle.It is stated that each bottle needs to be turned upside down and back, and I do this a couple of times and let them sit for a minute when I open a bottle for the first time. But given the latest increase in price, twice in the last couple of weeks and the inconsistency issue I've decided to give it a, possibly permanent, break.

This WAS an amazing ginger beer 🍺 the best out there bar none. Alas the recipe has been adulterated with stevia sweeteners. While this is the most unintrusive of the many types of sweeteners, it still changes the taste and not in a positive way. I personally, use this for ice cream floats. But shall endeavour to get a new brand with only sugar. Or go for the alcoholic one 🤪☺️ 🍻 Crabbies here I come!The information on the Bolo store has not been updated. I have sent in a request to have it updated. Anyone sensitive to sweetness I would advise to avoid this now. Those not sensitive? It’s still a decent - though lesser - drink. Another old classic is diminished for the sake of profit. 😔1 star ⭐ for the slightly obtuse way they have not updated the info on ingredients- poor!3 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ out of 5 for the drink. Which is still decent if you don’t mind sweeteners.It’s well packed. It’s in glass bottles still. & it’s ok value wise. Unless you were duped by the ingredients & didn’t get what you hoped for.

Old world soda
The flavor was really good. It had an old world charm. The sugar content was perfect. Not too sweet which allowed the herbal essence to come through.

J'adore !Attention à ne pas trop en abuser même si elle est très agréable mais tout aussi calorique qu'un coca 40kcal au 100ml.Le pack de 12 est conditionné sous blister dans un carton du fabricant sur lequel reposent les bouteilles. Bolo emballe le tout sous un épais papier bulle. Aucune crainte sachant que le produit est expédié de Grande-Bretagne
