Beans are good quality. These are great value and the jars are fantastic to wash up and use as storage. Just soak in water and the labels easily come off :-)

We had these before, we like them a lot, but I got three broken jars in the pack of 6, glass shards everywhere and apparently I cannot ask for a replacement because the policy does not allow for it.

These are generally quite good beans and a great option if you’re looking for organic beans in a glass jars instead of tins. The beans are submerged in water which is thick and gloopy, I reckon this has to be the natural starch from the beans as there’s no preservatives etc listed in the ingredients list, just the beans and water.Taste wise, they’re like baked beans (minus the tomato sauce, salt and flavourings) and well in dishes where you want a more neutral flavour and lighter colour including things like white bean soup, dips and healthy bean blondies. They're usually cooked well (soft but not mushy) though we’ve had the occasional jar of slightly hard beans which weren't as enjoyable.Bonus for anyone interested, the labels peel off easily without any residue whatsoever so the glass jars can be effortlessly reused for storage (yay!). Also, the beans I received have always had long shelf life with expiry dates 6months+ away. Once opened, rinse, refrigerate and consume within 2-3 days. We'll no doubt continue to repurchase as long as the price stays reasonable!
