Have used this dye for many years now and never disappointed, people always comment on the beautiful colour and ask who does it.Can be a little over ashy at first wash but settles down great and leaves hair with a wonderful shine.For those who prefer a more intense ash blonde I suggest the shade 12/11.

I can say it does what the instructions say but I don't recommend it if you have your natural level darker than level 7. For natural medium blondes it is ideal, it does not damage your hair, it does not burn your scalp, it is fine. Even with 40 vol as I used it with a 40 vol because my natural hair is medium brown level 5. But I got orange roots. Really bright orange. Which is not nice and no toner worked on those so I dyed my hair back brown. For hair darker than level 7 the only way to get blonde is to bleach and tone your hair which is damaging. So I will stick to Wella Koleston because the brand is amazing with a large variety of colours but I will dye it copper-golden brown which does not need a lot of lift. Overall this one is a good lifting colour but for level 7+ natural hair.
