Suitable for both hair and body (though they are not tear free) and for all skin types. They can also be used to hand wash your delicates. One soap does it all. So simple. Thanks to repairing properties of Vitamin E and antioxidants found naturally in high quantities in Olive oil, Dalan Antique moistures and nourishes your skin. Dalan antique, 100% pure olive soap, is an indispensable natural beauty remedy of Turkish bath culture. It continues to be produced with traditional handmade methods for 70 years. It is made from 100% pure Aegean olive oil which also gives its natural colour. In order to ensure sustainable quality, Dalan produces its own olive oil and saponifies its soaps in-house. Please note that because these soaps are hand made there may be slight variations in their sizes and shapes.

This is my favourite soap. I bought it at first for washing artists oil paint out of my brushes (which it does very well thanks to the olive oil content). Then I used it for my DIY hands and it removes varnish from skin kindly and efficiently - why do I never wear gloves? And now it has replaced my shower gel and I use it for my whole body. I really like how creamy the soap is, it isn’t drying to the skin, is a ‘hard’ soap so it lasts for ages, staying as a nice rectangular block. Yes, the citronella smell is strong but it doesn’t persist on the skin and I’ve got used to it now. When the soap arrives I unpack it and stack in the cupboard. The blocks are quite large compared to supermarket soaps and is obviously packed fresh so is a wee bit soft. The smell fills the bathroom for a day or two. But I’ve found that after some weeks the smell on the soap goes away and the soap hardens up very nicely. This is proper olive oil soap and bargain priced.

I was just checking whether to reorder this soap. I got 10 bars in November '19. So 6 months ago. Only I use it and its only for bathing. I bath at least once every day. I have 3 1/2 bars left, so each bar is lasting about a month. Our water is soft.Once you get used to the slight pine smell, this is an OK utility soap. It is made from olive oil - many soaps use animal fat base. I have noticed considerably less "scum" residue since I started using this. I am surprised how long its been since I bought it. I intend to buy the product again - in July. Very good value.

Would be 5* review if not for the film plastic wrapper AND the further plastic bag these are wrapped in...This soap is fab -- not drying and not an overpowering scent. Works well as a general use soap around the house as well as for hair, body, and face.Using a sharp knife, I cut each of the larger bars into 3 smaller 60g bars = 30 small bars which each last me around a week; for £12.97, this represents unrivalled value for money!PLEASE just get rid of the needless plastic!

Gunky horrible slimey mess of a soap. As soon as I saw soap I realised something was wrong. It was crumbling and had a greasy dark green crust. Other occasions I have had this soap /brand and I have not had this issue so can only assume this block was faulty. It was also slightly cheaper and I should have questioned why. When I tried to use the soap it disintegrated into lumps which have covered my sink area. The soap itself is like melting wax, a slimey soft lump which I will have to throw away.

Lo compramos porque un jardinero nos dijo que para combatir un parasito que le habia salido a nuestros plantas en sus hojas lo mejor era diluir un poco de jabon en agua y con un difusor aplicarselo, pero para que fuera efectivo el jabón debia ser natural, es decir, contener sosa caustica, porque lo que mataba al parasito era la cal. Los jabones que habiamos probado hasta ese momento, incluido el de alepo y el jabon lagarto, no terminaban de solucionarnos el problema, quizas porque contienen demasiada glicerina y otros componentes aromaticos. Este jabón nos lo ha resuelto con una sola aplicación. Recomendamos su compra.
