This was my first time painting a room, so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I can definitely see things that I would expect to be improved in more expensive options, but for £14 I think it's great as an introduction and for something you probably won't use again for many years. Professional painters or those that paint frequently should probably look elsewhere though!The rollers slipped a lot, you had to take it slowly to get them to spin, the brush could have been bigger (or multiple sizes would have been nice) and the tray could have been larger and sturdier, all stuff you'd probably get if you're willing to shell out more, but for my purposes this set worked out great!

The rollers aren’t great. I’ve always bought mine from Asda before and they’ve been really sturdy.With this set, the rollers fall off ALOT. Which obviously isn’t ideal. I’ve been painting doors and where there are books and cracks in the door, the end of rollers tear off when painting the doors.Won’t be buying again. Highly recommend the ones from Asda

These rollers are a disaster - they look nice, but after one painting they can be thrown away, they fall apart, the sponge comes out of the roll, to be honest, they are not worth anything
