I read the reviews on this item and it was easy to set up and the sound I get through my headphones is excellent. I can recommend and it was also a hifi shop that showed it me in the first instance.

Having tried and returned two previous models (different type) from two different suppliers for poor performance even though customer reviews were very good.I then picked the Sennheiser 508258 What a difference in performance and quality.Great stuff.

I asked a question about the optical source from my tv as it suffers from jitter, audio drops.Nobody could answer or if they did it was a guess at best. No my cable isn’t damaged or my tv is broken. The tv manufacturer knows about the issue and dac manufacturers know about it to. Some of these manufacturers will release firmware to fix the issue others won’t.So I bought this device in hope that Bluetooth would fix my audio issues when using optical from my tv. As I said above the issue I was having was sound drop outs due to jitter from my tv optical signal.This device fixes the issues I was having with audio drop outs even though it’s still connected to my tv optical port. Don’t know why it’s fixed the jitter but there you go.My tv is a Samsung 2023 model.

Tried for at least an hour to connect it to my Sonos Era300 speaker, it was just impossible. I managed to pair a cheap Bluetooth transmitter costing £10 in seconds. The only problem here is that it battery powered with just 1 input. The Sennheiser seemed a perfect choice. With 2 inputs and mains powered. If you’re looking to connect to a Sonos speaker with this product forget it.The instruction manual is also very poor.I give it 1 star for the packaging.AVOID THIS PRODUCT

Simple to use, no nonsense Bluetooth transmitter with analog and optical inputs (note that analog and optical inputs can not be used at the same time). Pairing is simple and the signal is strong and clear. The analog input is for connection to the headphone output of audio devices and it works perfectly with my old iPod. Not sure how compatible this would be for use with a true line-out signal. Gives wireless functionality to older non-wireless devices. It has an aptx codec and works well with aptx and non-aptx receivers. Supplied with audio cables (analog and optical) and a USB charging cable.

I linked this up to my hifi which is linked to my TV, which is mainly what I'll use it for. It paired easily and automatically and connects as soon as I turn my headphones on. A bit pricey and there is a small lag with video, hence 4 stars but otherwise great.

Maar niet zoals ik had gehoopt. Deze hub aansluiten maakt dat het geluid van de TV alleen nog via een draadloze headset te beluisteren is. Dat betekent dus dat me samen met een headset op moeten kijken. Da's niet de bedoeling.

Bluetooth für externe Soundkarte

Durch den Kauf eines Bluetooth-Kopfhörers hatte ich das Bedürfnis, diesen auch an meinem Rechner, bzw. meiner externen Soundkarte zu betreiben. Das BT T100 wurde mir beim Kauf des KH gleich mitangeboten. Nicht ganz billig, aber wenn man etwas mehr Geld in KH investiert hat, dann sollte man vielleicht nicht am richtigen Zubehör sparen.Wichtig war, dass der Bluetooth-Transmitter aptX / aptX LL beherrscht. Denn das kann der Kopfhörer auch. Ist interessant, wenn man Musik in besserer Qualität hören möchte oder auch wenn man Filme schauen und sich nicht über verzögerte Sound-Übertragung ärgern will. Normalerweise betreib ich einen Sennheiser HD595 über Kabel an meiner externen Soundkarte. Aber es gibt auch einen Anschluss für SPDIF-Out, also eine optische Verbindung. So einen Anschluß bietet auch der Sennheiser BT T100 und netterweise liefern sie auch gleich ein sogenanntes Toslink-Kabel mit. Nebenbei wird auch ein analoger 3,5mm Audiokabel mitgeliefert. Muss man schauen, was man nutzen kann/möchte. Zu bevorzugen ist aber, falls möglich, die optische Verbindung. Man kann auch beide Kabel gleichzeitig einstecken in den Transmitter und muss dann mittels Schiebeschalter zwischen den Anschlüssen eine Verbindung wählen. Dann gibts noch nen USB-Anschluss für die Stromversorgung (kein Netzteil mitgeliefert, nur USB-Kabel). Vorne ist der Multifunktions-Knopf zum ein/ausschalten des Geräts und um Bluetooth-Geräte zu koppeln und natürlich die Betriebs-LED. Diese leuchtet rot, wenn keine Verbindung hergestellt wurde. Wurde eine Verbindung hergestellt, leuchtet diese blau und nach einer Weile wird die LED dann deaktiviert. Find ich nicht schlecht, weniger "Weinachtsbaum-Feeling" am Rechner.Die Einrichtung des Transmitters war wirklich simpel. Da braucht man keine technischen Vorkentnisse. Das Gerät an sich ist eine kleine schwarze Box, etwas größer als meine Handfläche (ohne Finger ;) ) und wiegt 3x nix. Die Verbindung zum KH war recht schnell eingerichtet und wird immer automatisch hergestellt, sobald sich die Geräte "sehen" können. Der Sound ist toll. Aber der Transmitter leitet ja auch nur weiter, was meine Soundkarte liefert. Auch ist die Bluetooth-Verbindung stabil, hab da ein paar Stunden am Stück Musik drüber gehört, keine Unterbrechungen. Die Reichweite ist okay, das ganze Haus wir damit aber nicht abgedeckt. Ich kann mich im Wohnzimmer, Flur und Küche damit bewegen ohne dass die Musik unterbrochen wird. Geh ich eine Etage höher, kommen erste Aussetzer.Ganz wichtig: Das BT T100 ist ein Sender, kein Empfänger! Der taugt nur zur Wiedergabe. Das war wichtig in meinem Fall, denn deswegen hab ich mir noch gleich nen BT-Dongle für den Rechner gekauft. Aus dem Grund, weil ich die Kopfhörer auch als Headset nutzen möchte.Achja, wegen der Stromversorgung häng ich das BT T100 an den USB-Anschluß meiner Tastatur. Mehr Saft braucht das Teil nicht.Viel mehr kann ich nach einem Tag der Nutzung noch nicht schreiben. Aber vom ersten Eindruck her gefällts mir gut. Mal sehen ob ich nicht doch Kritikpunkte finde mit der Zeit :) Achja, in der Bewertung hab ich "Lautstärkeregelung" nicht berücksichtigt (kein Stern). Denn es gibt keine Lautstärke-Regelung. Muss man denn entweder an der Anlage/Fernseher/Rechner/etc regeln oder am Kopfhörer, Lautsprecher.Und natürlich auch noch zu erwähnen ist der wie immer gewohnt Service von Bolo. Sie haben in 2 Werktagen nach Belgien geliefert (kein Prime-Versand!) und die Ware ist wie beschrieben :)edit 27/07/22: Ein bißchen schade ist, dass man die Bedienknöpfe am KH nicht nutzen kann, wenn man diese mit dem BT T100 verbindet. Lautstärke regulieren am KH geht zwar, aber Wiedergabe/pausieren/Vor- und zurück/etc funktioniert so nicht. In meinem Fall muss ich sowas dann direkt am Rechner erledigen. Ist zwar kein Problem in meinem Fall... aber das sowas grundsätzlich funktioniert sehe ich, wenn ich denselben KH direkt per Bluetooth mit dem Rechner verbinde.edit 29/10/22: Das Gerät funktioniert wirklich gut. Mir ist grade wieder aufgefallen, wie selbstverständlich sich das Momentum 3-Headset nach dem einschalten sofort mit dem BT T100-Sender verbindet. Das geht zack zack und die Bluetooth-Verbindung bleibt dauerhaft stabil. Verbinde ich das gleiche Headset mit dem Smartphone, hab ich manchmal Probleme mit Bluetooth-Aussetzern.

Lack of product ownership after sale

I have recently bought the bt 100t transmitter through your site and when tried to operate it i found out the unit is not functioning according to the operating manual and failed to put it in pairing mode though i followed the operating manual.contacted the product maker,i.e. Sennheiser,unfortunately they seem to stall and could not provide any solution so far and simply pass from one employee to another for last 3 days.
