I originally purchased this oil after reading a medical study paper that researched the efficacy of cold pressed Rosehip oil on post operative scar tissue. The findings of the research were positive so after a laparotomy, that left me with a long scar, (approximately 10"), down my abdomen, I bought this oil to massage onto my incisional scar.For the scar, I honestly can't tell if it has worked as obviously I can still see a scar, and always will, but the District Nurses who have been looking after me have said that I've apparently "healed very well", so the oil may have helped.I can say for certain though that using this oil on my face has been incredible. I was convinced my face would be left an oily mess, but this oil soaks in so well, it just leaves my face with a light 'dewy' finish.Being organic and cold pressed, there is inevitably a smell and colour to the product, but the smell is simply the smell of rosehip.

My new favourite rosehip oil. I usually use the Ordinary's version, but this is even better. I have been using rosehip oil for nearly 3 years now, so I have tested a few and know what works best for my skin. I also use it on my daughter's eczema-prone skin and it has completely healed up her mild/moderate facial eczema. When I stop the oil, it comes back. I now can't be without it!The challenge is finding an excellent quality rosehip oil. This oil is a rich, deep colour which is what I look for. It is coldpressed and organic - a must. You will know if the oil has been refined, because it will be clear with none of the vibrant colour. The refining process is said to destroy the active ingredients which are of so much benefit to the skin. I have used both refined and coldpressed oils, and would never go back to the former.Absolutely reccomend this rosehip oil.

THIS OIL IS A LIFECHANGER! after i finally managed to get my acne under control i had a lot of pigmentation, marks and discolouration where my acne had been. but this oil has really helped smooth out my skin tone and reduce them!! i use it as the last step of my skincare routine at night instead of a moisturizer. each i wake up my skin looks better and better! also makes your skin very glowy. the first time i bought this oil i got the 10ml one, and it ran out really fast (you do not get a lot of product AT ALL) so this time have bought the 30ml one. it has a light smell but it’s not too unpleasant, and the consistency is pretty thin, like water. the oil has quite a yellow colour, but you don’t notice it on your skin.

When opened there was a clump of long slime that really put me off using it. Using it on body instead of face as the thickness does not seem right.

I like this oil, to mix with others to enrich the blend, or to put a few drops directly on my skin. Seems very healing and pure. It is pricey but a little goes a long way.
