I’ve bought a few of these buttons for around our house to make sure everyone has the ability to use key smart home bits without having to have their phones out and handy and/or be connected to our smart home.Highly recommend! We’ve never had any issues with their connectivity. Super easy to set up. We use with AppleHome and it can control anything in our home so not just limited to Aqara products.I love that there are multiple options of button presses so the button can do more than one thing if you want it to.I think they’re really good value, especially for the reliability and use with so many other products. They’re also nice and small, discrete and simple for everyone to use.

The Aqara Wireless Mini Switch is the ninja of smart home gadgets. It's so discreet and unassuming, you might just forget it's there—until you need to turn off the lights without getting out of your cosy bed, that is. With a tap, double-tap, or a long press, it leaps into action, controlling your smart devices like a well-trained tech butler. And with its Zigbee connection, it responds faster than a cat chasing a laser pointer. Just make sure to keep it away from actual ninjas; they might mistake it for a new-fangled throwing star.

I have a number of Smart Home items - all lighting is Philips Hue using a ZigBee network and a Philips Hue Hub, and other sensors (temp, humidity, lighting levels, door & window sensors, smart sockets etc) use the WiFi network. All of this runs via Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 4.I needed a simple way of toggling some items on or off without asking Alexa to do it. After much research, I came across this small button. I went with ZigBee, rather than a WiFi-based solution as ZigBee is supposed to be more power efficient, and provide greater battery longevity and I had a ConBee II USB stick on the Raspberry Pi which could pick up the ZigBee network.It is straightforward to set up in Home Assistant. I installed ZHA integration first (it will work with DeConz and Zigbee2MQTT too) and then I just removed the small, plastic insulating tab from the mini-switch which enabled the battery to connect. A long press on the small reset switch on the top of the unit whilst the ZHA integration in Home Assistant was scanning and it popped up on my screen in about a second. I saved the settings, and then it was a simple case of adding automation in HA to allow it to do what I wanted. HA also shows the battery level as a percentage too - handy!!I only set up a simple toggle on/off to operate a remote smart plug. It appears (in HA at any rate) that there are three modes of operation which can be recognised and assigned.1. Single press - working great2. Quick double-press - not tried3. Long press - not triedThe flexibility of use within HA is down to the imagination of the user. So far (a couple of days in) I am impressed with this little switch. It is quite unobtrusive, and a useful addition to a smart home set-up that requires simple control functions.Would I buy another one?? Yes, without question, if and when the need arises, and from my experience of Home Assistant it is probably easier to set up than the similarly priced TRADFRI ZigBee-based, shortcut button from IKEA.

This has been a reliable button for the past few years. I attached it to my wife's bedside table and one click now closes all the bedroom blinds and sets the lights to her favourite relaxing scene. In the morning, a double click opens all the bedroom blinds again! Simple, easy to use, super reliable and integrates nicely with HomeKit too!

I am getting into making my house smarter overall and Alexa is my starting point. I've looked into Home Assistant and Home Kit but not ready for that get. Aqara was getting positive reviews on YouTube so I decided to have that as my ecosystem to start off. Ridiculously easy to set up (make sure you pull the plastic tag sticking out of the switch though, as that got me stuck for a while) and links straight into Alexa without doing anything, so I have been able to immediately make two of the three button pressing options working without a hitch. Basically, you can't really go wrong with these at the price point. Will add I already had the e14 hub required to use the Aqara blind motor, but at £29 that wasn't a problem.

I have seen so many YouTube videos praising Aqara devices. if you are looking to integrate this into Home Assistant, you cannot do it natively using the Zigbee add-on, none of the multi functions work, and the help on the Aqara website is pitiful. I tried doing this via HomeKit and the Aqara M2 hub and I ended up with clumps of hair being pulled out with how infuriatingly unintuitive it is. I then bought a sonoff USB Zigbee dongle which helped with the Home Assistant integrations. You must use Zigbee2mqtt and mosquito MQTT broker, but you also then have to go to the Home Assistant website and use blueprints to get the multi functions of the switches (light, mini etc). If you are just going to live within the Aqara system and just use your mobile phone in the native Aqara app. There are no issues. But if you are going to use Home Assistant be prepared for a steep learning curve if you are not tech savvy. I would *strongly* recommend that you watch a YouTube video of how to set up ZIGBEE2mqtt and then using blueprints in HA otherwise you will end up incredibly frustrated, because it really is not as straightforward as you think! Trust me, I know this, you don’t want this. I’ve had 30 years in the IT industry and it took me two days to figure this crap out.

Ürünü evimde kullandığım Yale marka akıllı kapı kilidini dışarıdan açmak / telefonu evde unuttuğum da (kapı anahtar kullanımını iptal ettim) kapıyı açmak için gizli bir anahtar niyetinde kullanmak için aldım. Aqara G2Pro Kameramı Aqara ürünleri için zaten hub olarak kullanıyordum. Bu cihazıda onun üzerinden Aqara uygulamasına ekledim üzerinden kendisi zaten Homekit'e eklendi. Cihaz homekitte direk gözükmediyse kullandığınız hub hangi odada ekli ise oraya geliyor ama ana sayfada gözükmüyor. Kısacası benim gibi HomeKit için alacak olanlara sorunsuz çalıştığını söyleyebilirim. Tek, çift ve uzun basış özellikleri var.

Petit interrupteur domotique à poser ou à coller. Discret même si on pourrait espérer avoir le même en noir. Très peu gourmand en énergie (fonctionne à pile). 3 instructions sont possibles : simple clic, double clic, appui long. Fonctionne parfaitement sous HomeKit avec un Hub Aqara.
