My natural colour is dark brown and this has also gone a lovely mixed auburn colour.I have very long hair and used one sachet as recommended, but could probably get away with a bit less.Thoroughly recommend, good quality product and really works. I will be using this one from now on

I used one of the two packets as I have longer hair but tbh probably could have just used half! I left it on for about 2.5hours (applied it to dry hair) and then shampooed (even tho ppl say not to shampoo but my hair was greasy and I just had to lol) then put in a deep conditioner and rinsed out and omg it came out gorgeous!! The pics are with it dry but not styled yet so I can’t wait to see what it will look like when I do it properly. Hair is a bit dry but not like when you box dye, way way way better!

I recently went back to red again but my grey roots looked awful even at 6 mm or so & too expensive to go to the hairdresser more than every couple of months. I used this & it was great. Lovely natural copper colour. Left it on for a couple of hours but will leave it longer next time. Didn't stain skin or my white bathroom😁 Recommend it. Don't know how long it lasts but ill be re doing in between salon visits. It did go on better where i was able to brush it into the roots properly so if you can get help with the back that would be better.

Great Henna powder.Brings out and highlights the natural tones in your hair wonderfully.I have some grey and it has blended it in.I don’t think it would completely cover grey if you have a lot of it.Would be better to use first red and then brown/indigo.This is by far one of the best henna powders I have used and I have used many many in my lifetime.It’s very fine so mixes well.Makes an easy to apply paste.Which is not too dry and clumpy like many can be.Add hot water ,Mix to a yogurt / runny cake mix texture.Cover and leave for at least an hour for the natural dyes to a activate.Apply to hair .Put hair up in a plastic cap/bag bung on a beamy hat or wrap in an old towel.The longer you leave it on the better and stronger the colours.Left mine on for around five hours.Very happy with the results.Even though if you look really close you can see that it’s only dyed the grey fairly lightly.But It doesn’t stand out anymore.Hair is in better condition for using .It’s added body and shine,Feels thicker and bouncier.Lovely rich tones. My hair does happen to have auburn running throughout so it’s picked up nicely on those.This would add lovely tones to medium and even darker browns.On fairer hair it would be lovely coppery tone/tones.The only reason I left of a star was because the henna didn’t come with gloves or a cap.Which are obviously needed.There is plenty of powder though.I received two bags.Which would colour my hair four times.Used correctly this henna it excellent 👌.

There’s no instructions so make sure you do your research. I used one of the 2 sachets to colour all my hair. I have one left for next time. Make sure you shampoo your hair first. Then mix the henna into a bowl with approximately 350ml or more of hot water (I used boiling water). Mix it into a creamy paste. Wear gloves. I sectioned my hair and covered it fully with the henna. Then I used cling film and wrapped it around my head and placed a shower cap over the top. Depending on how vibrant and intense you want it you can leave it for 60-120 minutes. I waited 120 minutes. Twice I used a hair dryer on a hot setting to ensure the henna remained warm. This isn’t essential. Just my preference. Finally wash your hair with water. DO NOT USE SHAMPOO FOR 24 HOURS. Wash and rinse the henna as much as possible. I applied some conditioner. Left this on for 10 minutes. Then rinsed and styled as usual. Hair may feel a little drier than usual but this will resolve after you next wash your hair. Remember it’s a natural product therefore the dying process takes longer than normal chemical hair dyes. But it’s well worth it.

I’m absolutely over the moon with the colour, the condition of my hair and the overall experience. I applied the mixture to my hair around 8 hours after mixing the paste, covered my hair with a plastic bag and kept it on for 2 hours. I can’t remember if ever my hair colour was so vibrant and my hair felt so thick and conditioned! No chemical dye has ever managed to do that… I should have tried it sooner 😁

This henna powder was superb. I’ve used various bands over the last 40 years so can tell good from bad. I’d highly recommend this one. It mixed up to a lovely consistency, the small was just right- pure henna smell. I left it for a few hours in a bowl covered with cling film in a warm place to develop. You could see the colour oozing out as it developed. I left it on my hair for just over an hour, as I hadn’t done a strand test and wasn’t sure exactly how strong it would be.( I often leave henna on several hours) This didn’t disappoint and I’m left with a really rich colour and very shiny hair.

I honestly thought auburn eyebrows would never be possible and I would be stuck with a light brown or dark blond; but this is amazing. I have relatively dark eyebrows so I needed to slightly lighten but lasts so much longer than I expected and although I worried about accidentally dying elsewhere I haven’t had any issues. I

The henna works so much better than box dye. It was far less damaging and lasted far longer. It’s been roughly 2 months since I last did my roots, and the colour is still holding up well.The process does take significantly longer than box dye, but is definitely worth it. The red box dyes I used all faded within 3 weeks. The henna has faded slightly, but even after 2 months, the colour has stayed the same. If you want a permanent red colour, this is definitely the way to go. Henna is very hard to get out of hair though, so if you aren’t completely sure about the colour, or don’t want to keep the colour for long, I would not recommend.For long term, it is the best option, and I will definitely be repurchasing when I need more. This is the best thing I’ve ever used to colour my hair. I think that next time I do my roots, I won’t even need to recolour the rest of my hair. The henna has lasted so well. I needed to do 2 rounds of henna to get this consistent colour, but after dyeing it twice I have had no issues with fading.I have attached a few photos of my hair dyed with the henna, and as you can see, the colour has stayed consistent, despite these pictures being taken far apart from each other. Very happy to have found this product and would recommend for anyone who wants red hair long-term.

This was my first time using henna to dye my hair, and I’m VERY impressed! I’m posting progress pictures since I didn’t see many reviews from people who started with bleached hair.Previous to using this henna, I had done a couple rounds of DIY bleach, a few temporary color masks in pink and coral, a salon visit to correct color to medium brown, and then box dye (blonde 8A) to correct the brass after the salon visit effects wore off. My hair has been through some sh*t these last few months. 😅The picture labeled “before” was how my hair looked immediately before putting on the henna. My technique was this:1. Mixed 1/2 bag of henna powder with hot (tea temperature) water and COCONUT CREAM in a glass bowl.2. Aimed for a viscosity similar to box dye.2. Let the henna sit in the bowl for an hour to develop.3. Funneled the henna into a hair dye applicator bottle. (Highly recommend. You can use any clean squeeze bottle. That ketchup is probably going bad anyway.)4. Wet my hair for easier application.5. Fully coated my hair, moving in sections, until it looked like I was wearing a henna paste helmet.6. Covered my hair with a grocery bag and then a beanie.7. Left the henna on for about 3 hours.8. Washed the henna out (no shampoo) and conditioned.9. I used the exact same process a week later for the second round of dying to get a darker color.Perhaps because I’m experienced with dying my own hair, I didn’t find the process to be particularly difficult or messy. It was pretty similar to using box dye, the developing time was just longer. And I personally really liked the natural scent of the henna. I love to hike so grassy smells make me happy.I didn’t measure anything. I just put half of one of the bags (box comes with two bags) in a bowl and then slowly added water and coconut cream in small amounts until I got a texture I thought would work well. I’m not sure what effect the coconut cream had in regard to the final color since I used it on both rounds. But it made for a nice spreadable texture and undoubtedly helped with dryness. My hair was already pretty dry with all that bleaching, but it didn’t seem more dry after the henna.Hmm, what else? I used gloves, obviously. And I put coconut oil around my hairline, on my ears, and on the back of my neck. I wore black clothes and covered my white bathroom counter with a dark towel. I’m not sure why people think something should stain their hair permanently but not stain anything else. That’s not very logical.I’m beyond pleased with the results. It’s been a couple weeks, and the color still looks great. If I do a third and fourth round, I’ll update with additional pictures. Happy hair dying!!

My hair looks beautiful!!!I have colored my hair copper for many years and, due to my true hair being light and to the normal fading of hair dye, it always fades into a strawberry blonde, which it's pretty, but not the brighter copper I like. This henna brightened my copper to perfection. The smell is similar to that of some teas (very botanical) and i was o.k. with it. I prepared the product and allowed it to stand for about two hours and left it on my hair for two and half hours. My hair already had copper shades, so it took really nicely. My hair is also soft as silk. I hope it doesn't wash off or fade because that would be sad. I love it just the way it is!!!
