Bought this and spent 2 hours fitting it, to find the button not responsive. All lights were on but the button had no affect. I see some other reviewers had similar experiences. I have returned this and will be avoiding this. Other potential buyers should take note.

Works perfectly! A great replacement for the standard on/off switch. Just make sure you know what you are doing when installing, otherwise get someone qualified to do it.Now, I don't have to rush back to the boiler to switch the emergency hot water off! Just press your desired time (15, 30, 60 or 90 mins), and forget all about it! Your water heats up and you Keep Calm and Carry On! Helps to keep your bills as low as possible, especially in these times!The blue lights (when lit) are a little on the bright side, so if the switch is located in an open area, at night it might be a little annoying, but my switch is inside a cupboard so well hidden.

I used this item for around 2 years now and it worked flawlessly through that period however today when I tried to use it 1 press of the button and all 4 lights lit up and it unresponsive to any attempted input.When it work it was reassuring to know that I couldn't forget to turn the immersion heater off as it would simple turn itself off but with this fault I didn't know it it was heating the water or not. I had to call an electrician out to change it for a traditional switch at a cost to me.The item claims a 2 year warranty and it broke 2 weeks beyond the two years. A great product flawed by poor quality.

I use it for a water heater in the bathroom. And the problem of the heater working around the clock is now solved.The backlight of the Boost button shines a very bright blue light. At night it lit up the entire room, so I had to disassemble the device and turn off the LEDs physically and permanently. The timer backlight is quite enough to indicate that the device is on.I am happy with the device.
