I've use this on several guitars to measure action. Easier to use than feelers. Its well printed onto stamped steel like a rule. The edges are a little sharp but if you drag it across a sharpening stone or similar it would take that off.

I'd always just used my eye for this but having a couple guitars to set up properly I tried this, for the money it's well worth it, being able to systematically SEE what your adjustments are doing and measure up and down the neck as you try and reach the perfect compromise. Wish I'd bought one years ago!

No instructions for newbies, easy to use once you get the idea, I had to go on you tube to find out. Its a handy wee thing you can get in your guitar bag, case etc and its nice and lightweight, that's what we guitar players need. Reccomended.

Bought this as I struggled with a 6" rule for setting up my guitars. This is perfect and has specific markings for the different measurements in setting up my guitars, so very easy to identify the correct measurements

Apologies to Alnicov. Previously criticised item as not as described. I was wrong, it was protected by a blue film. I thought I had checked properly but couldn’t remove anything. Arrival one daughter and the film was off from both sides in seconds. Doh! Item is as described and is up to the job!
