I recently purchased the Rii X8 Mini Wireless QWERTY Keyboard, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. This compact keyboard is incredibly versatile, making it the perfect addition to my home media setup. The backlit keys are a game-changer, especially in low-light environments, and the multi-finger touchpad is highly responsive and intuitive.Setup was a breeze – the keyboard connected to my devices instantly without any hassle. The rechargeable battery is a big plus, providing long-lasting usage without the constant need for replacements. I also appreciate the ergonomic design, which makes it comfortable to hold and use for extended periods.One of the standout features is the scroll button, which adds an extra layer of convenience when navigating through content. When I'm using it with my LG Smart TV the Rii X8 Mini Wireless QWERTY Keyboard delivers a seamless and enjoyable experience.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. It's a small but mighty gadget that has enhanced my multimedia experience significantly. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a reliable and portable wireless keyboard!

Rarely do products seem to deserve rave reviews; indeed, I get suspicious of those that do.Background: I have a Raspberry Pi for a course I am doing. I wanted a keyboard that I could use in my lap whilst the Pi displayed on the telly on the far side of the room. This product is Bolo's recommendation for just that purpose - so I bought it, not expecting much for £17; I was wrong.The device is nothing like a desktop keyboard. It is more reminiscent of the original Blackberry smart phone. It can be easily cupped in my two hands with most controls in easy reach. It is also very light - lighter indeed than my TV remote - probably because it uses a lithium type removal battery rather than AA cells.I followed the instructions on unpacking and it took a while to charge (several hours), but this was from a laptop rather than a wall adapter. As for bettery life - no idea yet, see other comments. Note one Bolo question answer mentions a 300 mAh battery - mine came with a 700 mAh battery, which is an obvious improvement.Button feel takes some getting used to - more TV remote than desktop keyboard, but wholly useable in your lap. Backlighting is a nice touch - means easy to use if you are using the Pi as a media station of an evening. Not worked my way round all of the extended features yet, but everything necessary was obvious and intuitive.Using with the Pi was flawless - just stuck the dongle in a spare USB slot - turned on the (charged) keyboard and turned on power to the Pi. Keyboard instantly recognised and useable.Only negatives so far:1. The shift key seems unusable, triggers repetition - better entering caps using caps lock.2. The dongle receiver, which comes neatly packed away inside, was actually quite difficult to remove (with fear of breaking something in the process). Could do with a ribbon underneath or something.Overall - for the money, and my needs this an absolute no brainer - Bolo is indeed correct in its recommendation.

On the whole this product solved my problem of controlling my Pc and media from a comfortable laying position in my bed. Previous to this i had to keep getting up to search and interact with my lap top keyboard. My setup is vast and it was not practicable to have messy leads and extensions from my devices and my preferred positions of comfort. The wireless feature was a no brainer and i love gadgets and the fast pace of useful tools - which make our lives easier. I love it. However, I think the product could have been a little bigger for my large hands and sausage fingers. I don't like the pressure keys on the keyboard. Why couldn't the makers of made them feel like any other keyboard. Even a small calculator has nice pressured touch sensitive features. Perhaps someone could tell me why this product tactile keys are like this?. The power cable as usual is too short. perhaps a longer version could be provided. I also didn't like the rough feel of the track pad. not smooth at all. I still keep thinking its just a calculator in appearance. Maybe design it better to avoid this comparison. The price i thought was excellent.. I think its a product that needs working on to be a great product and not just a good one
