I am very happy with this rice. I used to buy the cheap Morrisons brown rice and I was sick of removing husks from them. I'd get around 10 husks per portion and it used to drive me crazy picking them out. It was worse when I missed some and bite down which felt like a piece of wood in the mouth.These have none and I'm just about to finish the bag. When rinsing them, the water would come out clean. Where as the Morrisons rice would have fine black dust on the surface of the water. I have no idea what this even was but before I started rinsing the rice I'd be eating the stuff.Anyway this rice is super clean so I'm very happy. But I had to change a few things to get it right. If I added the usual amount of water, this rice came out bland and even watery tasting. It also was very firm. Much firmer than the Morrisons rice. Now I put the same amount of water as I usually do, but about a tenth less rice per portion (90%). This seems to have fixed it. The texture is really good now. So it takes a few tries to dial it in. But once that's done it's really good

Best basmati brown rice out there..we have had a lot of different varieties and different kind brands but have found this to be the best. Easy to cook, 12 mins in instant pot , grains are separate, doesn't break,has great texture with lovely aroma. Great value for money on Bolo subscription .

I never cook any rice that takes almost an hour to cook. It takes a lot of water also. Maybe something is wrong with this bag of rice, I really don't know but I won't buy again
