They have survived a term of lunchtime football. They are true to size, fit well and are comfortable. Good laces that stay done up. Definitely worth paying a little bit more for the quality. Finally, a comfortable workshop with a bit of give in the material for my high arches. Good quality and look smart. Sensible price too!

Feels light though substantial. Very comfortable. Tongue of shoe is well padded but looks like nylon weave? Inside looks a bit cheap, hope they last. Appeared to be three models “black”, “black black” and “black leather” seems nonsense. I went for “black leather”, not sure it is. I’ll see how they wear and what they look like with proper polish on them.

These are comfortable and reliable. I walk several miles a day and I am hard on my shoes, and because consistency matters a lot I've had several pairs. The treads don't last the longest, maybe, but I've never felt uncomfortable in these right from the box; I think they are worth it.

Great shoes and amazing delivery considering they were shipped from the US. However it does seem surprising that I can only get Clarks wide fittings from America.

BUYERS BEWARE....AVOID BUYING THIS SHOE AT ALL COSTS!!!!THE REASON::- Over the period of just over a week or so..these shoes have chafed a crator hole..almost all the way through the skin on the back of my left heal..leaving a gaping open wound!!...I had noticed some slight discomfort..and I'm aware that shoes need time to break in...but I wasn't aware of how much damage to the skin on my heel was being caused...I admit I should have payed a bit closer attention..but I never expected to see I'd ended up with hole in my skin...It looks to be the final layer of skin away from the heel bone.The quality of the shoes stitching construction seems fine..but the shoes are suspiciously light for my size..a whopping size 11..and there is no actual heal padding on the inside of the heal inside the back of the shoe..or even at the top around the inside edge to cushion your heal away from the inside chafing area somewhat...I now have a slightly infected hole in the skin on my heal..that I did best to clean...Needless to say I am not happy...there was no leaflet in with shoes that highly recommends wearing a few plasters on your heal whilst wearing them in...this may seem common sense to some..but the gradual injury was gradual enough that it went almost unnoticed for a duration long enough to cause significant injury ...and now mental distress and worry...A long established shoe maker should know better than to skimp on heal padding...shoe companies will know all about chafing..no doubt have complaints..and should properly test shoes before selling them on an open market..The shoes is the perfect fit aswell..it's not like I've bought a size too small.Please avoid this shoe..it's not fit to be on the market..I have significant injury..and only bought these shoes based on thinking the company had a maintained reputation for standards..but there isn't even proper heal padding..something that it vital in stiff leather shoes.PLEASE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT SHOE.

I've purchased these shoes 3 times for work. The good, comfortable for standing on your feet all day from day 1, no need to wear them in. Good grip on wet surfaces for awhile.The bad. All three pairs of these shoes are all still in good condition except for the soles. The grip wears very quickly and then the shoes become lethal on any wet surface. The commute to work when it's wet out becomes dangerous. It's a shame as the shoe itself lasts and is comfortable.
