1 x Large Weatherproof Box which can be used as a standard junction box to house cable connections or as an adaptable enclosure to house various system controls, sockets, switches, pilot lights etc. Made from halogen-free plastic, finished in grey, internal ribbing to ensure the box keeps it's shape and stays sturdy. The box has plain sides (no knockouts) allowing the user to drill holes wherever required. The screws that secure the lid are made from plastic meaning there are no rustable parts on the box. if 2 screws are left partially screwed in on one side, they will create a hinge allowing user to open and close the lid. IP56 rated so is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Internal dimensions are 380 x 300 x 120mm, the actual box is 400 x 320 x 130mm

Nice strong plastic, have cut a couple holes for fans, has all the room i need for the inverter and it's cables. Can even hinge the cover on 2 screws at a time for easy access.

Being larger is actually no detriment, it allows me to mount a backing board inside and space out components, the main thing is to remember not to overtighten the lid screws they engage on a single spiral of thread which I imagine could easily strip if overtightened. As far as being weatherproof only the mounting screws to the wall look to be possible points of entry for water, something to keep an eye on. Along with the cable glands purchased at the same time it looks a very professional set-up , very pleased

Works like a charm, nice and spacious, I could even straighten the antennas. Assembly is easy, I love that you can open the door without taking it off (only 2 screws out, and 2 to loosen). Also looks ok as far as "design" for an IP box, the sealing is sturdy, solid and tight. Pricing is realistic, this thing is big. I'm 100% satisfied, will buy the exact same again if needed.
