The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY THIS. Absolute waste of money. The canopy swings in the slightest of breeze and the whole of the top moves, doesn’t stay still, so if there is a slight breeze in your garden, you will not be covered by the canopy.Yes it’s cheap, and yes it looks good, but completely unusable. I’ve now bought a standard rigid umbrella that works much better. Watch my video, you will get the drift

Parasol canopy swings quite a lot even in the slightest breeze. Great if used in a sheltered spot or during perfectly still conditions. Square plate attaching base of centre pole to cross leg base restricts the type of quadrant weights that can be used with this parasol. Clearance between floor and base of bracket is limited, width of a paving slab, which ironically is what the instructions recommend. The water filled quadrant weights I purchased would not fit under the bracket.

Having to return item as it was too big and complicated to use. VERY VERY upset to find out I am having to pay over £30....which I am unable to afford... for a carrier to collect.

The long and short of it is, I seriously suggest you consider an alternative to this. Why? It looks nice, it’s relatively cheap…. What’s the problem? Well, it doesn’t function if there’s a slight summer breeze in the air…. I did read another review commenting on its stability, but put that to one side thinking they must be trying to put it up in fairly strong winds…. I owe that reviewer an apology and should’ve listened! It doesn’t matter how tight you get the cable, the thing moves around like one of the flapping things you see on tv outside car sales rooms. I’d return but the box is long gone and it’s going to be far more hassle than it’s worth. Just learn from my mistakes and if you live anywhere with any wind, STAY AWAY.
