The DAB+ dongle is designed to work specifically with Android head units, and is incredibly easy to use. Plug the tuner into the USB port and double-click to install the app, and you'll be up and running in no time.
Supported Programs
Support most DAB/DAB+ standards such as DAB ETSI 300 401 standards, DAB+ ETSI TSI 02 563 standard and DAB Band III frequency 170MHz-240MHz, you can receive lots of programs.
How to install DAB Antenna:
1. Remove “A” pillar trim from the passenger side.
2. Scratch away some paint from the A-pillar to attach the copper grounding lug.
(Please tear out the sticker from the grounding lug surface and ensure the grounding lug has good conduction with the car’s ground).
3. Attach the antenna to the windscreen once the copper grounding lug is secure.
(Please try to keep the antenna away from the metal ground of the car, at a distance of 60mm at least, and you should place the antenna upward.)
4. Run the cable to the rear of the DAB stereo and connect to test. Refit the A-pillar once completed.

Purchased this with great hopes it would improve my DAB signal on my android radio, sadly this wasn't the case.I installed into a USB as required but there where continuous issues with the unit. I also tried various apps.DABz would not recognise the aerialDAB+ was stuck in initialisingDAB Dreams recognised the aerial but wouldn't tune anything in.Also used their recommended app by scanning a QR code. And although the tuner did work, stations where no better than my original DAB+ adapter.I had granted all permissions, kept clearing caches etc but the aerial would not work. I am running android 14 with other USB devices connected. So I know it isn't the radio. Of course I will be returning this device.Just thought i'd let other potential buyers of my issues.

This is almost essential if you have the xtrons head unit, such a shame it’s not built in. Easy to install and set up.The supplied aerial would pick up DAB+ stations and works when stationary HOWEVER, once you start moving the sound disappears and you get the odd squeal and squelch as it tries to get the station back, I have had to purchase an external aerial and that has transformed it into what it should be, whilst out never lost station / signal once.The unit works very well but be prepared to have to purchase an additional external aerial.

Although I rate the xtrons stereo I purchased it is difficult to rate this. It arrived with little instruction on how to integrate with my stereo. I had several adapters to fit to it. It would have been nice to have specific instructions on which one to connect! Regardless. It does the job. It works!

Dreadful - failed after 6 weeks - now trying to get a replacement or repair from XTRONS. As usual, Bolo not interested beyond 30 days as it is a marketplace seller. Check the other reviews, this unit is prone to failure.

Guys, Please google how to install it.The copper antenna needs to be placed on the car's metal frame, then it should work well without issues.

Installation war Recht einfach da USB Anschluss. Kabel zum Radio und dem USB Stick ist ausreichend lang, bei mir sind ca 30 cm Kabel übrig.Bislang funktioniert alles einwandfrei.

Not sure if it's a software issue for this thing or it's not getting any signal, but because nothing is loading I can't see the problem with it. I would let it run thinking it may just need some time to catch up. All day...nope!
