I've been using this cream for about a week now as an adult on some dry eczema prone skin on my legs, that can get quite spotty/inflamed on the hair follicles. I found that it works really well and even after one day my skin looked less angry. It's non-greasy and absorbs fast which is good because I'm always in a rush in the morning. After a week my skin is definitely in better condition than if I hadn't used it but much better than it was. I found it not to be as effective as steroid cream I have (if things get really bad) but a good half way house. Interestingly about double the price of an NHS prescription though so it on the expensive side.

I’ve only just started using this Cicaplast from La Roche-Posay, so I can’t say for certain yet whether it will make much of a difference to my son’s scar, which isn’t very recent. At this stage, I’m just trying everything in the hope that it helps reduce it a bit.The cream is easy to apply – I use it twice daily on completely dry skin. It’s fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and very high quality, as you’d expect from La Roche-Posay. No issues experienced at all, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from this brand.It seems suitable for babies, and as my son is already eight, I find that reassuring – if it’s gentle enough for babies, it should be perfectly fine for anyone in the family.The tube itself feels sturdy and well made, and overall, it’s been a pleasant product to use so far. The skin stays well moisturised, but in terms of improving the scar, it’s simply too early to judge the results.I’ve given it four stars at this stage, with the hope that longer use will reveal more noticeable improvements.

I've been using this on my own skin, mainly on dry patches and areas than need a bit of tlc and its really helped. The texture is thick but not greasy and it absorbs nicely without leaving any stickiness. It's also fragrance free, it feels gentle and kind on sensitive areas of skin. Whenever my skin is starting to look a little stressed I apply a small amount of this and it seems to calm things down quickly and soothe it. Its become my go to when problems arise, I'd really recommend it if you need a simple balm thats kind to your skin and works!
