It arrived nice and quickly, and was easy to set up. I hand-washed and dried the individual salt and pepper chambers with warm soapy water before filling them with salt and pepper.But it is important to make sure that moisture never touches the middle of the device where the motor and rechargeable battery are.There is only one button, and it controls a central motor that spins both the grinders when pressed, (there is a grinder at each end, at the far-end of each chamber).However, because of gravity, only the contents of whichever chamber happens to be the bottom chamber at that moment, will touch its respective grinder, and get ground up and dropped onto your food.I use telicherry peppercorns in the pepper-half, and regular table salt in the salt-half. The peppercorns are bigger than the salt flakes and so take longer to grind up. But it is lovely not having to grind manually anymore!The instruction manual was very clear too, and contained handy advice about how to dislodge trapped peppercorns. (I have not had to dislodge any peppercorns yet.)The device displays a red light when charging, and a blue light when fully charged.I've found that if the grinder is fully charged, and you grind for about 30 seconds, the device will require about 5-10 minutes of charging to go back to fully charged. I do not know how long it would take to drain the battery entirely. The device will arrive without any charge and so must be charged before using for the first time.Overall, I definitely recommend this product. It is great quality.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the Cuisinart Seasoning Mill . Unfortunately, the product has failed to meet my expectations due to its poor performance.The battery dies within 10 seconds of use, and the grinding function is not working as expected. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to connect with your customer care team to report this issue.I would like to request a return and a full refund for the defective product. As I purchased the product from Bolo, I would appreciate guidance on the next steps to take.

The media could not be loaded. Really pleased with this for what I paid. It showed up on a deals site for £9.99 and grabbed one, firstly the frosted pearl is a light silver, I was expecting a white pearl but pleasantly surprised it's silver. I'd have preferred the stainless steel one but that was 5x the price.It did initially jam on the salt but after adjusting the grind size to slightly larger it's never jammed since. Make sure to put the the one you use the most in the bottom as the top has a cap to avoid anything getting in the top so in our case we have the salt on the bottom and pepper in the top.My only niggle is the dock can be a little fiddly sometimes and would be better with magnetic guiding pins but it's functional and I'm happy with it. The shows red when charging and changes to blue when fully charged.

I got one of these before Xmas and the charger was broken. Had a lot of trouble getting a replacement and very thankful I had the return tracking as they said that they did not get the unit I sent back. I should have done my return through Bolo. Lesson learnt here.The unit seems really robust and I like the fact that you can change the thickness of the grind. Also like the fact that it is rechargeable as my last one used to go through a lot of batteries.I am slightly concerned that salt crystals keep jamming up that end. I am nearly at the end of my current pack so will go for a different brand next time but if this persists it will be a big problem.

I had to replace my old grinders as the salt one kept getting stuck. I saw lots of great reviews for this one, so I thought I would try it. I love how it is just one unit for both salt and pepper which saves valuable space on the worktops. Also, a great bonus is that it is rechargeable so I don't have to keep wasting money on batteries. I will say however, that it is quite large and a little heavier compared to my old ones so bear that in mind if you have strength issues in your hands or wrists but all in all it is manageable. Very good so far and a winner in my house

Original one stopped working very quickly. Cuisinart sent me a replacement which was great, however this too has now stopped working and was only used a handful of times. Do not recommend!!

Does not work at all. Battery must be old and cannot be charged. Unit is totally useless for us.

Great find! I’ve been looking for this & considered other options. This one looking the most promising. When I received it, it was even better than the pictures! Plus, it’s easy to use, fast and quick and very quite too.

Die Idee von dem Gerät ist gut und es sieht wertig aus.Problem ist allerdings das der Motor zu schwach ist und sogar bei vollgeladenem Akku die Mühle manchmal einfach steht.Der 220V Anschluß ist ein englischer Stecker und man braucht einen Adapter auf EU-Stecker.Fazit:In meinen Augen das Geld nicht wert.

I am rather unhappy with this purchase, when i got it in June I tried it out and it worked well so I set it in its home base to fully recharge. As I still had some salt and pepper in my old (IKEA) devises I used those for the first 2 -3 weeks after which I started using the new machine and now after using it just a few weeks one side already does not grind any more. At first i thought is was the salt I was using so I changed that but it still does not work !I am not sure if there is still any warranty on this product , kindly let me know.Thanks, Ido Bakker
