An excellent baking ingredient and one that also pairs well with savoury foods like chicken and fish. Use a pinch to flavour ice creams, porridge, creme brulee and custards. It's also fab in a smoothie too. Available in 10 g resealable pot.

I bought this because my daughter reacts badly to sugar and artificial sweeteners, so we have to be careful about how much she has. Vanilla essence tends to be pure sugar, so we avoid it but she loves the taste of vanilla.This powder is fantastic. I whisk a tiny amount - probably less than a quarter of a teaspoon - into 300ml of milk for her and she tells me that the vanilla flavour is very strong, just like a "proper" milkshake but without the sugar. It's great to be able to let her have a treat that tastes good but doesn't cause a reaction.A tub lasts ages - they are packed by weight, so there doesn't look to be a huge amount in the tub but since you only need a small amount, a little goes a very long way. I have it on subscribe and save, to make sure we don't run out and would certainly recommend it.

This is a FABULOUS alternative to liquid vanilla essence, and in my opinion, a much healthier option too, as this is just straight fried vanilla beans, as opposed to having being extracted with alcohol / ethanol etc. But is cheaper than buying fresh vanilla bean pods. Absolutely love it!

Flavour and smell is quite weak so have to use quite a bit. Expensive consider the taste is minimal and the pot is small. Wouldn’t purchase again. I would use the vanilla pods as the price is very similar but the taste was very faint

Like a lot of people, I've been baking a lot during the quarantine. I was getting through bottles of vanilla extract at an astonishing rate. Enter vanilla powder - it's great value for money because of how far it goes, the flavour is equal to good quality vanilla extract and it has the benefit of making it look like I've used a vanilla pod every time I've baked. I'll be replacing when my tub runs out.

I have bought this at the beginning for its value and it was OKish... Some vanilla taste and smell. Not the best but I thought you get waht you pay. I have actually subscribed to it as I use it with my morning yogurt instead of sweetener. The last 3 deliveries were absolutely tasteless. No smell either. Not sure what powder is in there but I doubt is vanilla. Something must have changed in the meantime.Also the packaging is really appaling. Plastic and only a small portion is actually in there.I have stopped buying and would recommend people to move on and find another brand.
