I've recently started using resin to make items as gifts and for myself. This resin is so easy to use, ratio 1 to 1, and produces a lovely clear cast if not using a colour pigment. I did get bubbles but used my old heat gun gently over the mould and the bubbles quickly popped.It has no nasty odour so I didn't wear a mask. It dries fully within 24 hours. After about 5 hours it loses its stickiness so I was able to place the mould and resin into a dish gently but firmly pressing down so the resin forms a bowl shape. I then leave for 12 - 24 hours depending upon how thick my item is.If any sanding or filing is needed leave for about 72 hours once demouled, this ensures full curing and it'll be easier to sand or file.When I first began using resin I measured with measuring cups and didn't understand why some casts were a bit sticky. After my h research on you tube I found that you should weigh the resin and hardener then mix together. If you do find your cast is sticky after curing use pure acetone to wipe over the item then give it a little wash in warm soapy water.In my short time using resin I've become obsessed with it. As its not a cheap hobby please use you tube as your coach and watch or read lots before starting. It will save you money because you'll get less mistakes.This resin is easy to use, not the cheapest around but it does give nice detail on castings that have lots of fine intricate markings.

This resin is easy to work with even though it was my first time using resin. There were some tiny bubbles after mixing the resin with the hardener, but they mostly disappeared when heating the mixed resin with a heat gun after pouring in the molds. The amount of product was enough to make 10 small coasters and plenty of keyrings. All the items I needed to make the beach coasters pictured were purchased from Bolo: round disc silicon moulds, mini heat gun, acrylic paint for the water, alcohol ink for the waves, shells, and sand and gravel substrate for the beach.

This product lasted well with many uses for smaller moulds, the instructions were simple to understand as you just mix the bottles together at a 1:1 ratio. Make sure you have good ventilation when using this product as the chemicals can be quite strong so I recommend using a mask or keeping windows open around using this product. It works well and the added supplies which it came with were also quite useful especially the gloves.

This was the 2nd purchase of resin from Bolo, the first one was from a different brand but was much more expensive compared to this one. Both have been brilliant but this one is fantastic for the amount you get and price paid.Great working time, easy to use, sets and cures really nicely, rarely ANY air bubbles.If you were just wanting a kit to try it out for the first time, get THIS resin and some moulds to try and you will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately the resin leaked, I'm guessing in transit, the bottle had split and by the way box was damaged its clear it had gotten squished or bashed. However, I managed to still make a couple of things with what I had left. Considering I had no idea what I was doing I was amazed at the results. So yes, its very easy to use! It seems the best price around. Although I'm not sure I'd buy again due to the mess I had received this in. Bolo was very helpful as always.

Tried a few resins and this is the best (for me) by far. Cures super clear, very little bubble trouble. Love it! Have brought this resin a number of times now, and it will deffo be my go to resin of choice for a long time to come.Wish they sold in larger amounts.

Easy enough to use - BUT - doesn't seem to cure. Mixed exactly to instructions (and have used many resins) still not cured after 4 days and further time makes no difference. Tried a few grams either side, same results. So, easy to mix, reasonably clear but not good if you want a hard finish or if it requires sanding/polishing (the heat generated will make it even softer and not give a decent finish). Unfortunately ruined a couple of pieces of work so will try a different brand.
