So far so good, haven’t had any problems locking/unlocking.One thing I wasn’t sure about was how to lock the door from outside without using my phone and it turns out that it locks automatically after 5 seconds (default) of the door being closed - can be changed to longer/shorter delay.Fingerprint is very convenient and is the one I use the most. Phone, passcode and access card as back up.

At last a product that eliminates the need for front door keys. An issue did arise with the handle that Sifely Support Team promptly sorted for me with little fuss. Delighted with the quality of the lock and ease of use.

The lock is pretty straight forward to install in a wood door.If you're going to use it in a uPVC door, you'll need to drill extra holes etc so be sure it's compatible with your door first.The locks' app functionality is adequate for most needs and does what it says in the documentation.I haven't and won't use a gateway for cloud connectivity as it's too much of a security risk so I can't comment on that functionality.The the one thing I've found so far that really lets it down is the built in speaker, in the app, even on 'volume high', it sounds like a really cheap and nasty piezo speaker and it's very very hard to hear/understand what it's saying.

We bought these (in fact we bought 4 in total of the identical). Intended in our B&B to replace simple digital ones believing spending about £100 each on them that they would be easy to use and install and help to remotely resolve issues if a guest had any problems. One day of them being used and we had more problems in that day with all locks than we had in 7 years before that. Even had to climb onto roof and go in through bedroom window to let guests back into their rooms. Removed the next day and returned.

Best Smart Lock Ever - Sun will not kill battery

It works great - has lots of features other smart locks don’t have. It has a digital keypad and you can set it up with a code, fingerprint or card access. All work great. It also has an app so you can set it up thru the app - which is super user friendly. You can even lock and unlock the door with the app - but to use that feature more than 10 feet away I think you need to buy the gateway - for about $40. . You can set up a large number of different users and with the app you can identify them by name etc. . You can set up temporary codes - like for a repairman to access your house. I love the passage mode which lets you leave it unlocked as long as you want - this is great when have workers going in and out all day during remodeling and the like. Most smart locks let you set a delay of 2-5 minutes before it locks but don’t have this passage mode feature. Customer service is great on replying and helping.I Also love the integrated handle - some digital locks have a separate handle and they may not install right with your existing holes - so you end up with open holes exposed or having to get a new door - so be careful with that. This one for right in my existing holes and allowed me to put a separate deadbolt on top.I can’t say enough about how great this lock is. And the price is excellent. Try and buy a lock like this at Home Depot and it will cost you $300.Warning - Digital Locks and the Sun: I had bought another lock when the buttons.on my old digital lock kept getting stuck but that new lock had a problem in that batteries died in 2or 3 days. Bought it again thinking it was a lemon but the replacement had the same problem. Finally figured out it was the 2 hours of morning sun hitting my East facing door that was causing the problem. This lock does not have that problem. It’s been working great now for 2 weeks.

I never have to carry keys anymore! It’s such a freedom I’ve never known. The set up and installation was quite easy. This product pays for itself, you’ll never have to pay for a locksmith again or get lost keys cut. It’s a great quality if life improvement for sure.The fingerprint reader works 95% of the time, I’d say the 5% it doesn’t work is completely my fault for not placing my finger correctly or if it’s a bit dirty.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The lock was the size I was looking for.Ease of use:Very easy to useKeyless entry:Love having the keyless entry.  I have a choice to either use a fob, fingerprint, security code or unlock from cell.Size:Fit perfectly on my door.  Ease of installation:Very ease to install.  Just follow the video on Bolo.Security:Very secureLock functionality:Love this lock.  Works perfect on my back door.

So I have 4 other smart locks in use and thought I'd try this one as it was an excellent price and has lots of features. It's a solid build and super easy to install. I mean really easy with some great install videos online as well. The app is super easy as well and I'm not a fan of apps usually as they can be complicated and add an unessesary layer, but this one is good. This smartlock appeals due to the price point and the options available to open it. Fob,code,phone, fingerprint and even a key(remember them ?) I have found it best to always have a key override. All options work well except the fingerprint. I'd say it works 20% of the time. Instructions say if it does not work then ensure your finger is moist - hmmm, no comment. The poor performing fingerprint option loses a star from me but hey, you may be blessed with moist fingers - not here to judge. The only other downside is I'm yet to work out if it has an at home passage option where it is effectively a door handle that allows entry back in without entering the code again. Still, very happy with the purchase. When entering the code remember to push the # either side of the numeric code. Would I buy it again? Yes. I think fingerprints are somewhat hit and miss across all technologies regardless of how moist you are. Happy shopping.
