Bought two, one for myself and one for my husband. I put mine on the hight setting to start out with and once I'm comfortable I turn to a lower temperature or turn off for a while and it is easy to turn back on once you have cooled down. I bought the large size and it really covers us from head to toe, my husband is six foot and he has no problem with being wrapped up head to toe. We definitely delay putting our heating on of an evening when we are using these heated throws and they are cheap to run so what's not to like about them.

Warm, Comfortable and Cost-Effective for Cosy EveningsI bought this heated throw to keep warm in the evenings without relying too much on central heating, and I’ve been genuinely impressed. The size is generous enough to cover me completely while sitting or lying down, and the soft grey fleece feels luxurious against the skin. It arrived neatly folded in a compact box with clear instructions, and the digital controller was simple to attach.The choice of 9 heat settings is brilliant. I can adjust it depending on whether I want a subtle warmth or a proper toasty feeling, and it heats up surprisingly quickly. The built-in timer function is very useful for drifting off to sleep without worrying about switching it off, and the auto shut-off adds peace of mind. I’ve also washed it in the machine after removing the controller, and it came out looking as good as new.This heated blanket has become a daily comfort, especially during colder spells. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to stay warm while keeping energy costs low. It’s safe, efficient, and well worth the price, particularly with the added bonus of being machine washable. The throw keeps me lovely and warm on cold evenings while watching TV. It saves turning up the heating.l would definitely recommend buying one.

I've had a few heated throws and they are never long enough, this one covers and entire single bed and then some. I have chronic pain and this really helps relieve it as you can wrap it around your body in a way you can't with a smaller one. I'm not a big lady (5'2, average weight) so this one genuinely can wrap around my whole body which is awesome. Gets really quite hot at max, after around an hour it automatically goes all the way down to the lowest setting (you can also manually set the temperature) and there are 7 heat levels. Timer function can be set to automatically switch of from 1-9 hours so you can have it on all night if you need it. Doesn't get too hot to sleep on the lowest setting. Washes well. Long cable. Reasonably priced. Well constructed (I've used it for a while now and there has been no movement of the heating wire inside so far, which is an issue I've had before with other brands)

my bedroom always cold even in summer am very pleased with this my first electric blanket money well spent am 70 feel the cold . left this on all night for the first time keep me nice and warm love it it only uses pence in money i give it a ten for me

This blanket it a nice light weight but is very thinAs others have said it does take a while to warm up the lower settings are a waste of time as they hardly warm up at allIt is a very long would have preferred the attached label to be at the bottom it right by the electric cable attachment at the top i finding this a bit annoying but is not a big issueIts ok for the money but would not have kept it if it had cost more
