Come forward 50yrs later (now 61), the interest is still there and decided to buy this one after reading several reviews.The build quality is first class and being metal, will last a very long time. I found it very easy to use. Even the course focusing was nice and amazing picture quality using the fine tuning knob. With all the accessories that come with this, make it extremely good value for Money and for those learning microbiology, this is brilliant educational value.Here are a couple of pictures I have taken. One is the Microscope itself. The other two are using the phone attachment with the x4 and WF10 lenses of a Mealworm you give to birds in their feed.I won’t be looking at food and drink I consume, as that would probably put me off everything I love eating and drinking.This is an extremely amazing piece of apparatus, that I highly recommend. In which, as a non-biologist myself, will enjoy hours of looking at things.Thanks for reading :)

Ive looked at my own drop of blood using this microscope and it is pretty good piece of equipment. My phone have difficulty focusing and generally doesnt make good pics but the view was excellent with naked eye. I was able to see my blood cells moving.

Since I don't have anything else to compair it to ? But its sturdy, works really well.. The slides that come with it are amazing to look at.. Can see blood cells easily , everything needs to be spotless clean for high magnification..but that would be normal

As a biology teacher of 11-16 year olds for over 50 years - I find this microscope is perfectly adequate for the purpose and with a few little extras that bring it up to date. The phone holder works best with an ‘old mobile phone’ that has only one lens as easier to line up with the eyepiece attachment.

The microscope is generally good you can cleary see blood cells and other microscopic things. However there seems to be so much dust inside the lenses that is obscures what you are trying to view. I assume it has been put together in a very dusty environment.I

Spent hours looking for a good microscope for my boyfriend's birthday. We managed to make it work pretty quickly. It's harder to get clear images when we get to x2000. Actually most of the times, we get the most impressive stuff around x1000 so now that I think about it I would have probably bought a good x1000 microscope but I didn't know much about the whole thing.As everyone says, the phone attachment is rubbish. You need to hold the phone and wiggle it a bit to manage to take a good picture. We tried several times and only manage to get this really nice picture.Also comes with loads of cool extras and a little case with prepared slides which were amazing to look at!But overall super happy. And with a £30 voucher discount, this still made it one of the cheapest I could fine so really pleased with my purchase! Can't wait to look through more things!

Mi ritengo molto soddisfatto al momento, con due piccole "pecche" che non influiscono sulla valutazione: Per spostarsi nel vetrino bisogna spostarlo con la mano dato che manca l'aggeggio che lo muove (ma lo sapevo, nella scheda non era specificato, per 100€ cosa pretendo) e la luce superiore in alcune occasioni risulta un po' debole (ma abbiamo tutti un cellulare con la torcia no? per 100€ cosa pretendo parte seconda). Il livello di ingrandimento non è molto diverso dai microscopi che ho visto in laboratori di diagnostica e di biologia.

I bought this microscope to study spark plugs. Picture was taken and resized using a Samsung A71 placed on the provided phone support. (I found that placing the supplied phone mat above the eyepiece gripped the phone better than placing it below. I used voice control to snap the picture of what a REAL NGK Iridium tipped sparkplug is supposed to look like. You can see the welded tip of the hard wearing material. Fake Iridium NGK's use steel core electrodes that are simply machined down to look like an iridium tip and seldom work or last.I realize this was overkill, but this microscope was affordable, well engineered, easy to use and I buy a lot of spark plugs.

Por mi profesión se diferenciar un microscopio de juguete de uno que no lo es y este no es un juguete. Relación calidad precio 10. Es cierto que el soporte para móvil es un poco....y no hemos conseguido hacer fotos con él pero el enfoque es perfecto. Muy recomendable para estudiantes e inicios avanzados en la materia microscópica
