I really like this product wish I'd got it a long ago. It really helps you stand from sitting. Being disabled I found it hard to get up from my chair and struggled. Got this item and wow it works. Bit of a pain to assemble it though

I found this very difficult to assemble with the instructions given. The pieces including the interconnecting parts which are intended to slide into each other are covered in thick paint which makes connecting and adjusting angles hard unless you sand the paint on the inner connecting tube down a bit where two parts overlap. You have to be careful to get the base legs pointing in the same direction as the handle angle at the top so that downward hand pressure on the unit is supported by the base unit legs. If you don't then the unit will topple away from you when downward pressure is applied to the handle. I mention this because in one of the sales photos on the Bolo page shows the unit assembled the wrong way around as I just described! Apparently someone else must have found the instructions confusing too! Luckily distant memories of Phusics lessons and "Centre Of Gravity" helped me out.The device works OK to help you stand up from a seated position and the handle covering ensures a good grip is possible.

This comes in 'bits', that is no surprise. The instructions are useless, that too is no surprise. The bolts are long enough on some locations and not long enough on others. A little note says that the plastic washers, that protect the paint (and therefore the steel) are 'optional'; which actualy means they compensate for the poor quality control on the depth of a punched courtersink on the holes. When the countersink is too shallow you need to leave the washer off in order to do up the bolt. When the frame is assembled, it is wobbly, even when everything is tightened (your own screwdriver and spanner needed). This is because the end that is squeezed into a smaller diameter in order to slide into a tube is squeezed too small and rattles around. When you tifully tighten some screws, the dome falls off the top of the dome nuts; the countersink is too deep in these cases. It works;it is useful; it is poorly engineered.

A déconseiller.Si on doit s'y agripper en urgence, des parties se déboitent et on se retrouve par terre.Cela m'est arrivé 2 fois avec cet engin. La dernière fois je me suis retrouvé aux urgences.( je vous passe les détails)A déconseiller sauf vous voulez vous débarrasser de quelqu'un.

Ho acquistato questo ausilio per mio suocero, e devo dire, che dopo il rifiuto iniziale, lo ha poi iniziato ad utilizzare trovandosi bene. Ho lo ha sistemato come lui meglio crede e ci si trova bene.
